OXO Good Grips Sleek Pepper Mill with Adjustable Grind

We love our salt and pepper mills! We've had the salt mill for around a year, and loved it so much we decided to buy the pepper mill. The adjustable grind size works well compared to our old Magnum pepper mill, which is just a screw you tighten or loosen. The OXOs have a sliding tab and are easy to adjust to the exact grind you prefer for each task. The openings where the salt and pepper come out are ON THE TOP, which KEEPS THE MESS OFF THE TABLE. A HUGE plus for us! They are well made and feel sturdy in your hands. They are both easy to refill. I recommend 100%. These make great gifts!

I love the concept of having a pepper mill that the pepper doesn't fall out of. This has been something I have dreamt of! No really I always wondered why you couldn't just store it right side up and now they have made it. I have had many items from OXO and they have not let me down yet. Super easy to fill and not messy at all. Also, the grind selection is easy to change and the grind is consistent. I am so glad that I purchased this.

Great, well made, quality unit. Easy to fill, large capacity, over five selective grinds, and a pleasure to use. Recommend to anyone who enjoys a quality, useful dinner tool.

Not sure if I received a defective product but this pepper mill sucks. On paper this pepper mill looks great, reputable brand, decent reviews. 3 our of 4 turns doesn't dispense pepper on any grind setting. I literally have to spend 2 minutes turning away to get a meals worth of pepper. And half of the pepper is just smooshed pepper shavings. Don't waste your money.

This is the nicest peppermill I've ever owned, but it's not without its problems. I like that the grinding end stays "up" during normal storage, so that there's no little pile of ground pepper on the table. The grinding action on where we found it to be a bit odd. It's hard to describe but it just feels a little weird in the hand, but we're getting used to it. Also, ours has started to squeak on occasion during longer grind sessions, like seasoning a prime rib. Also, it is quite easy to tip over when you turn it upside down to fill the reservoir with more pepper, as the base end is heavier than the top. I'm still finding peppercorns in the kitchen weeks later. Be careful. Overall, I like this pepper mill, and I would buy it again. The grind quality is nice, and the coarseness selector work great. Build quality is nice as well. I may end up trying the matching salt mill as well.

I like this pepper mill.....it is the best one I've ever had. It is very comfortable to hold and the grinding action is very smooth. I like the fact that the bottom unscrews and you pour the peppercorns in thru a nice size opening. No peppercorns getting spilled while you are trying to get it filled. I have not used the coarse grind setting so I cannot address that action. The fine grind is perfect for what I do. I don't think you will regret buying this peppermill.

Simple elegance—simply disappointing grinds. Smartly engineered appearance and inverted function (no pepper dust) but this smartness evolves into a smarting frustration over the coarseness setting/feature: coarse cut corns are rare on the “coarsest” setting; it’s mostly dust.

Lovely pepper mill that is really pleasurable to use with a soft grip and a smooth grinding action. Nicer than others we've seen for 2 or 3 times the price. We also like that it's mess-free on the table since the grinding parts face up (not down, as with many grinders). Once you run through the included peppercorns (which are of decent quality), you can fill with a colourful mix and make better use of the transparency.

Die Mühle ist nun gut einen Monat im täglichen Gebrauch. Die Idee mit der Öffnung oben ist so simpel wie effizient. Kein Pfeffer mehr auf Tisch und im Schrank verteilt. Das Design ist modern und sogar elegant, im Gegensatz zum Kleineren Bruder (mMn). Befüllen geht auch sehr gut, dank der grossen Öffnung. Was mich am meisten überrascht ist die Stufeneinstellung: oft Marketinggeschwurbel oder Design-Gag, hier kann effektiv der Mahlgrad stufenweise eingestellt werden. Die Übergänge sind zwar fliessend, trotzdem wird das Mahlgut zum überwiegenden Teil in der gewünschten Grösse gemahlen. Und etwas effizienter ist sie auch noch (Menge pro Dreh) als meine alte Peugeot. Bislang sehr empfehlenswert.

Love this pepper grinder! I was looking for something easy to use, because some of these pepper grinders can be cumbersome when you're hands are full of food in the middle of cooking, but this OXO model is great! The grind settings offer good variety (although they're doesn't seem to be much of a large difference between the different ones), and the quality of parts seems to be pretty decent I love the fact that I don't have to flip it upside down to use it. Best of all it looks great on my kitchen counter! I also got the salt grinder to match. :)

...mag schon vorkommen, aber hier nicht! Fasst sich gut an, lässt sich gut abstellen(quasi aufm Kopf, bzw Drehgriff) und einwandfrei und sehr leicht drehen. Es kommt mehr raus, als bei anderen vergleichbaren Mühlen und, was wichtig ist- der Mahlgrad lässt sich einfah außen einstellen! DAs Nachfüllen über den abschraubbaren Deckel im Drehgriff geht locker vonstatten, da die Öffnung ausreichend groß ist. Die Lieferung war inkl eingefülltem Pfeffer! Alles in Allem- Kaufempfehlung!

Die Pfeffermühle sieht genauso wie die Salzmühle super aus. Die Qualität wirkt hochwertig und die Bedienung ist einfach. Also alles was man braucht. Und der Mühlenausgang ist oben, damit nicht ständig Pfefferreste am Standort zurückbleiben. Ich kenne zwar den Unterschied zwischen Salz- und Pfeffermühle nicht, aber ich habe beide Produkte gekauft und bin überaus zufrieden.
