These arrived in perfect condition and are beautiful! On first look, I thought ‘too big, return them‘. But they were so pretty... so Pros: Heavy, well weighted, appear sturdy & well made. Heated food evenly in microwave ( haven’t tried lid yet, but it fits as it should). Washed easily & even cheese came off without issue. Also, the little handles stay cool enough to facilitate getting them out of microwave. The bowl body stayed quite warm, & kept food at a great temp. Cons: It is really easy to put too much food in these. 😁 Would recommend, & will get a second set for Xmas gifting.

These are exactly what I was hoping for. I spent days looking for the right bowls and found that apparently I have very specific dish preferences 😅 My spouse and I look forward to lazy dinners on the couch with junk tv to relax. Our baby will often pull us away from dinner and by the time we return, it’s cold! I wanted to find something with a lid and large enough to load up with a healthy helping and not worry about it spilling on the couch too easily. I also wanted something with neutral earth tones. This set checks all boxes and is a good price for a set of two. I had seen reviews showing broken dishes and almost didn’t buy these but everything arrived unbroken and well packed. There is very thick styrofoam holding the bases and they were double boxed. I wonder if they have updated the shipping method or maybe I just got lucky. In any case, no cracks or chips! I’ve set a cereal bowl next to the bowls for size comparison. In person, these turned out to be very nice. I like the size, color, and weight and I think they will definitely be much better than the mixing bowls we had been using for larger meals. 😂

During the winter we eat soup frequently. I am not a cook, however, there are many canned soups that are taste and health worthy not to mention conveniently microwavable. To microwave soup it must be cooked in a covered container and then transferred to a bowl which generally need a plate under the bowl to support it. These bake and serve ceramic bowls with lids and handles are all you need! Soup goes in the bowl, lid on top, into the microwave, and then to the table holding on the handles. My only negative, which has been mentioned in other ratings, is the spoon that comes with the bowl - it is cute, however, it is pretty worthless. I highly recommend these bowls!

Very pretty, accurate description, nice packaging. Handle of spoon broke easily, but we still kept it. Microwave safe.

Several of my recipes call for a low temperature stewing in the oven. I must say - these are the perfect pots for it. Don’t be fulled by my pictures- these are not really for a single portion. I would say these are 2 or maybe 3 portions. I love how fantastic these look and how low maintenance they’re. And if you’re not feeling particularly chief-y, a nice load of pirogies in these adorable pots will look nothing short of gourmet. Lastly- these will make an amazing gift.

I thought they were going to be ok, but I fell in love with these. They have a healthy weight to them and they are thick. They can really hold their heat, especially with the lid on. And that lid... I think that's why I really love them. If you make soup or anything that can explode in a microwave, these are great. No more putting plastic wrap over your food! This cuts the waste and I was trying to get away from using plastics with my food, not that there is much fact behind that really mattering, but its a cherry on top of already great bowls.

These bowls are perfect for ramen, soups, or rice bowls. The lids work great to keep the heat in until you are ready to eat. My only complaint was that one of the spoons was chipped upon arrival. However, I am still giving this 5 stars because I love the bowls so much and I did not buy them for the spoons.

After reading some reviews I was worried that these bowls would arrive broken being porcelain and all, but they arrived well packaged and not even a chip was missing. I ordered these bowls because I got tired of those plastic soup bowls with the lift up steam spout on the top being so hard to clean after a few uses because the hot soup would just melt into the plastic making them impossible to clean. But these gorgeous bowls work perfectly. No mess in the microwave and super easy to clean. And the little spoons are cute too. They slip into the handles of the bowls keeping everything together after they are washed and put away… Finally a decent way to eat soup!
