The Sims

This came in great condition and was packaged very well,it was exactly like the seller described and played perfectly. This is the one that started it all and I'm glad to have it back.would recommend,well worth the money!

I played this years ago on the computer, decided to get it for PS2. Played for 12 hours straight the day I got it, and 6 hours the next day. It's so addicting. Having goals to complete gives you something to work towards, but there is so much else to keep you busy - making friends,keeping your sim happy, buying things...I love it.

My week has been a cluster of horrible crap. I ordered this and recieved it really fast. I was so super impressed and so happy to have something to take my mind off it all. So I come home from my grandmas funeral., pop in the disk... And the stupid game will not work.. After half an hour of cursing and sobbing I gave up... Only game that doesn't work in my ps2

haven't ordered games on amazon before so I was a bit worried about the quality/getting a fake, but I played 12 hours straight yesterday (leave me alone, the nostalgia hit hard) and the game never crashed. no problems loading and loading time is about what I remember from a decade ago. bought a new copy that had shrink wrap around it from Southern Gamez and Media (not sure if the review automatically shows that so leaving that here). the disc didn't have any scratches.

And just so you guys know I am a Sims 3 junkie so let me tell you 3 things I dislike about The Sims for PS2.1. SLOWWWWWW- Takes forever to get skills! You better be multitasking when you're playing this or you'll go nuts.2. The kids do not grow up!3. Did I already say slow? Seriously. Turn on your TV and chill while you're waiting for them to level up.With that being said I still love this game. It was my first Sims game and opened up a whole new world for me. It's pretty basic. Customize your Sim, get them a job, a spouse, and kids. The end. There is also a story mode that you have to start off with. You can unlock new objects and clothing items by passing the levels so it is a must. Anyways, ENJOY!HINTS FOR STORY MODE:*Always have 3 cooking skills before cooking. This is a universal Sim rule for all of the games. If you don't you will burn the house down and possibly kill your Sim.*When you are close to finishing a house and moving to a new one buy some expensive things for it. Malcolm will reimburse you with extra $.*When your in Mimi's house buy a pool. As you will find out she refuses to gain skills. When she gets promoted it will ask for 2 body points. Make her go swimming and she will earn those 2 points and get promoted again.*Try to get as many skill points as possible while living with Mom.*Make lots of friends!!! After a while to get promoted you must have a certain amount of friends. So go ahead and get a jump start especially with Mom.*Don't leave your kids at home alone. The social worker will come get them. One parent needs to be a stay at home parent especially during the level where you get married.

I purchased this game because my old one wasn't working anymore. With all the cleaning and blowing from the old one wasn't cutting it. I've searched online for another game and this is perfect. After some research, certain games like this one has a blue underling and I've noticed that the " Blue Side " don't work in the system unless you clean the system out or the upside down routine. Cleaning it is better and the game works (Yeee). Now I can go back and finished what I've started. Thank you Sooo Much ! !

This game is very fun and also very challenging. I feel that Sims 2 was easier than this one, but I also enjoy playing in the neighborhood. For the first game I can say there was a fair amount of styles and products to choose from when creating your Sim or a household.
