Some questions might be over a younger child's mind but there are still plenty that you could use. An example; my nephews are five and seven. One card asked, "If you had a time machine for day, what would you do with it?". The seven year old is aware of the concept of a time machine but the younger one is not. Even after explaining it to the younger he still seemed indifferent to the question. Not a bad thing, kind of makes sense, just using this as an example. Other questions are a little more what you might expect - "What super power would you like to have?" or "What's the best thing about our family?", etc. Other questions are a little more thought provoking - "When you get angry, how do you calm yourself?". (questions are paraphrased not verbatim) So you get a variety and it covers all ages of children. Honestly, even as an adult I found some of them thought provoking. Overall, a lot of fun and I am glad I purchased these cards. I purchased the 2-pack with the "Couples" set. Haven't used them yet but reading a few of the cards would indicate about the same quality and variety of questions I'd expect after using the other set.
