Dell OEM Genuine USB 104-key Black Wired Keyboard (RH659 L100 SK-8115)

I buy Dell computers and they are pretty good. I have had no problems with my Dell XPS 8500 systems thus far. I brought two new XPS systems to replace two old XPS systems nearing the end of useful life. In both cases the Keyboards that came with my Dell XPS systems were just plain straight up useless garbage. Keyboards that come standard with new Dell computers are just worthless garbage. The keys are all very flattened and their is no real tactile feedback to the key when you press it. The standard Dell XPS keyboard feels so cheap I thew away both that came standard with my system. I usually donate my old but still functional tech to homeless shelters or needy folk but Dell keyboards that come standard with new XPS systems today are so bad I can in good conscience give them to anyone.So I had to buy new keyboards. I work with computers everyday and as such I get to test and experience many keyboards and computers. Over the years I have experienced many keyboards and this Dell USB Enhanced Slim Black Keyboard is the best computer keyboard I have ever tried. I first got exposed to this keyboard at work and loved it. The keyboard is just heavy enough to feel perfect on my desk. This Dell USB Enhanced Slim Black Keyboard sits in my lap and makes typing a dream. The keyboard is not wide and flat. The keys stand proud of the keyboard base. There is a definite click detent feedback that insures you know instantly if a key was pressed. the layout is minimalist but still functional. The Dell USB Enhanced Slim Black Keyboard is reduced to only the most essential functions but they are well laid out.For this awesomely nice keyboard its price is not super expensive. I have a Dell USB Enhanced Slim Black Keyboard from a long gone system I brought back in the early 2000's. I still have this old Dell USB Enhanced Slim Black Keyboard because; its comfortable, it works like a war horse. I have abused it and still it works. However I only have one Dell USB Enhanced Slim Black Keyboard left and I got tired of unplugging it every time I switched to another computer. I found this Dell USB Enhanced Slim Black Keyboard on Amazon.com and immediately brought four of them at the same time. It appears the end of the quality easy to use standard keyboard is here. In my experience keyboards that come standard with Dell computers today are garbage. If you want a nice keyboard you must buy it yourself. Dell makes some great keyboards unfortunately they do not come standard with Dell Computers. I love my Dell USB Enhanced Slim Black Keyboard and had to share this fact with you.

The description didn't state this keyboard was a SPANISH keyboard. I cannot use it. Will be asking for a refund.Update: Seller sent a new keyboard with a return label, which I received in under a week. I returned the Spanish keyboard to them. The new keyboard works great, just like the one I already have for my desktop. I've been using this particular keyboard for many years so I'm familiar with all the key locations which makes everything faster. I like the design and that there's little wasted space and nice push back on the keys for a solid feel when typing, though it IS a little noisy when typing. If you have to do a lot of quiet typing this isn't the keyboard for you. Unlike flat keyboards such as on laptops, there's enough space around the raised keys on this one for longer fingernails, so I don't have to type on the tips of my nails which slide all over hitting wrong keys. I purchased this as a second keyboard to use with my laptop.

If you are as old as me (70), you will remember the original key boards came with the MX keys (full key size). I found that is because sometimes I type heavy and I never lost the key actions to type correct words without any errors. Yeah, that right. The small keys that they have out now are very small and thin. Excellent for gaming but not for me. I have had the same keyboard now since I got my first computer decades ago. I even got this one to take to work because I type a lot of info in my job and with what they have, my fingers keeping and slipping off of the keys. Difficult to find "Home Row" keys. I highly recommend it. Take care of your stuff, people.

Am replacing old keyboard and wanted to have the same Dell keyboard. It is a new product and the mouse was also included with the order. Excellent service in ordering, responded quickly to my inquiry and delivery was very fast,

I like the extended Spacebar (there is definitely a reason I need it.)I like the offset Caps Lock.I like the hollow finger contour on top of every key.Also I haven't accidently pressed the Enter key with my little finger, which surprised me.The key presses are light and positive. Haven't dropped a letter yet.If I could find a keyboard with all the characteristics above and... all the plastic character keys were symmetric and the same size and the home keys 'F and 'J could be swapped into any other key's place (and visa versa). and all the character keys could be removed and flipped upside down...I would be buying that keyboard tonight.Anyway, here is my "coffee" keyboard layout. {alias the "wide stance" keyboard layout}The "home" keys are 'O' and 'I' . This keyboard is the best one for me... the size and key touch are a perfect fit. This one works like new. However, normally when you purchase a refurbished item, it has been cleaned up to look as new as possible so it was disappointing to see that the keys had not been cleaned. I used a Mr. Clean pad on it and the grime that came off proved it had not been cleaned. So I like the keyboard but I feel that, considering the price, it should have been in better condition.

It's not a 104 keys keyboard, it's a US standard Keyboard). They refund only 85% of the price and ask 25$ to return it!!! // N'achetez pas, ce n'est pas un clavier étendu mais un US normal. Ils ne remboursent que 85% du prix et demandent 25$ pour le label de retour !
