But if you're looking for a throw that is beautiful, well crafted and will actually keep you warm this is the one you need. I grew up surrounded by women who crocheted and knitted blankets and throws for themselves and everyone around them. Unfortunately I chose not to learn the craft but I've always appreciated the look and feel of all things hand-made. This one has a real home-made appearance. The sherpa lining is super soft. The two layers combined provide warmth without feeling heavy. It's been machine washed and dried several times without fading or losing shape. I consider it to be among my best Amazon purchases and I recommend it highly.

I got this to lay on my bed as a little accent blanket. I love it. It is really well made, soft, warm, fuzzy on one side and knit on the other. I am thinking about another one for my guest room.

Having owned the same blanket since 2005, I figured it was time for a new blanket. So I started my search. looking for high positive reviews as always, and also the negative. Recently purchased this. Writing this review at the end of 2023. Looking at it up close, it looks the same as my blanket it terms of thickness. For anyone wondering what my old blanket is, it’s a San Marcos original blanket. Made in china. So not an original since the original ones were made in Mexico. No longer made. You can still find companies that make them with similar material and if you don’t mind having an animal or a specific design on the blanket. Warm, heavy blanket I used for all seasons. still have it. Anyways, this one ended up being thinner, maybe just lighter in terms of weight since my old blanket was meant for a bigger bed size and this one I ordered is for a size full bed. It’s definitely nice and warm. Since right now it’s cold, I am using the white fur style material side. It’s warm enough and also having a heater helps. Quality of material feels great. No shedding. even after i washed it first before using it like you always should. Time will tell. I paid 40 plus tax. I was not expecting perfection. I don’t see this lasting the same as my other blanket, but we will see. I ordered the dark green one. Softness, comfort, and light weight, 5 out of 5 from me. Thickness and combined with being warm, 4 out of 5.

I have purchased three of these blankets so far; two as gifts and one for us. They are beautiful, soft, and warm. Love the colors!They don’t shed! I usually stay away from Sherpa because of shedding. I’ve washed ours plenty and still no shedding at all!

This Blanket is Fabulous!! My son loves it. It is extremely soft and warm. It washes and dries very well and you can wrap your entire body in it. I had to purchase one for myself. This is the most cozy blanket ever. ❤️❤️❤️

I love this blanket. I probably looked on Amazon for two hours for the right cable-knit and sherpa combo blanket to use as a bedspread before I bought this one. I love it. I've been using all winter long. The thickness is just right. It launders very well and I am overall very happy with the design and quality.
