Everyday collar
This is nice for everyday collars. The app that you need to use eats the phone battery while in use, but you dont have to have the app up all of the time. It has a delay from app to collar so you have to keep that in mind when you do things like track, use of light and tone. The light comes in handy at night. The dog might act funny at first but if you use it the dog will get use it it and want it on when it goes outside. We live in the mountains so using the light I can see where my dog is and he can see. If you want to keep your dog safer I would recommend link. I also use a hunting tracking coller when I want to go out but it is bigger so not an everyday collar.

Helped keep track of my roaming dog
I bought this since I live in the country and my dog likes to roam. My dog's brother got ran over and it took us several hours to find him to get him to the vet even though we knew about where he was hit. Gives me peace of mind being able to know where he is when I can't find him, knowing he's just in the woods vs near the road. Also found out how active he is. Customer service is top notch! Any time I had a problem they made it right and quick. Only complaint is that battery life is only about 24hrs so I have to charge it for a few hours where I can't keep track of my boy.

Works fine
This unit is not perfect but does what we wanted. We have a good ATT signal and I suspect that is why some reviews are negative. We have repurchased one again since the dog chewed one up, so we are happy with it.

Not worth it
I'm still in my first week using it and it's miserable. The battery life is less than a day. Tracking app requires location access in order to use the fitness or activity tracking function. I had to buy the sleeve because the carrier included doesn't secure properly to collars and a quick shake from the dog will loosen the unit from the carrier defeating the whole purpose of getting the tracker. If I didn't already go down this rabbit hole with the $100+ subscription and accessories to make this work I would use something else. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this product.

Awesome
Awesome!!! Battery lasts as long as my Apple Watch but I use my watch a lot more.. overall pretty good battery. I like that it alerts you as soon as your dog is away from home. My dog is a frequent fleer and I was surprised the first time when I revived an alert on my phone and watch that my dog was away from home. Sure enough when I went to the back yard to check on her she had quickly dug a hole under the fence! Luckily I caught her within ten mins when it usually takes four hours.

Love the Tracker
I have two dogs, two collars, two trackers. My girls are the most important thing in my life. Knowing that if one or both wander from the "pack", and I can track them, provides security. I also really enjoy seeing them meet their daily goals of activity - canine version of a Fitbit.

So far, no problems, no sertup issues either
I received my unit today and charged it. BTW, there were no instructions, let alone a MENTION of how you remove the GPS unit from the collar attachment. It too me a while to figure it out. I charged the unit and had no problem pairing it to my iPhone 11 Pro Max with the latest OS. I will check its accurance and provide updates as time passes. Be prepared to a $10 per month fee to use it.

Probably best for city dogs. Don't think you'll use for tracking hunting dogs.
The good.....the activity feature works good to keep up with exercise. The bad......The GPS tracking does not update quickly and often. It is not very accurate. If you lost your dog you could spend a lot of time looking in the wrong direction.
