FibroPool Chlorine Floater - Adjustable Release - 12 in - Vinyl

My existing pool float keeps getting wedged on the top stair when water is slightly low (yet not that low I need to refill). I'm a newbie caring for an in-ground pool... But I at least knew that the float getting wedged on the step was not good. Tried to tie it off with a goodly amount of fishing line... And altho that worked, I didn't like how it wasnt free to go the entire circumference of the pool. Why was this so difficult to find the solution for via online search... I don't know. But I finally found a site (mikethepoolman) who gave a good rant about it (since floats wedged on stair can stain/damage the stair). He said the solution is to just buy one of these tall/larger sized floats. Hooray! But... Good luck finding one! Lol... Unknown why these aren't sold everywhere! Unknown why pool stores always sell just the short ones. I'm thankful I found this one on Amazon! And it was the same price as the small one my pool store sold me . Altho this is a larger float which can hold 8 3-inch tablets (I only need 2 3-inch tablets per week) ... Thats moot. The larger/longer float also can solve the problem if small floats don't play well with your stair. It works perfectly since the length is longer under the water and prevents it from ever getting wedged on top of the stair. I'm so happy this is over... It was really bugging me... Lol.

This holds about 7- 3" chlorine tabs and seems to be doing a pretty good job. It also seems well built

Can hold up to 8 three inch chlorine tablets! This is big capacity. I am unsure why anyone would need 8 tabs but someone's pool might be excessively large. Easy to open and close. I have it tethered to a filter return with fishing line for easy servicing. This will probably last about 3 pool seasons for me. Anything longer would be unusual as chlorine causes plastic to deteriorate rather quickly. Highly recommend.

Works well, and doesn't get stuck on the first step of my pool--like the regular (shorter) ones of this type. I'd have given it five stars, but I have to take a razor to some of the slits that open to regulate the amount of released chlorine. Not a big deal, but it's worth mentioning.

This is large. it says Supersize and it is. It also appears to be made from a good quality that will put up a good fight against the effects of chlorine for some time. It floats nicely. Some seem to sink with the weight of a few chlorine tabs. I like how the top locks on in a bayonet fashion and you know it is locked when you hear and feel the click. There is a tab on the side with a hole which is very useful for me in keeping the tablet dispenser from finding its way to the front of the skimmer. I have it tied to the opposite side of the pool. The opening on the bottom seem small to me at first but I think that is because the dispenser is supersized. After using it, I do not think it would work as well if the openings were larger.

I bought this to fix the issue with the smaller size ones have with getting either lost in the skimmer or grounding out on the beach area of our pool. Holds more 3" pucks.

This is a really good floater for the pool. It works especially well if you have Baja steps and you need a floater that's a little bit deeper so that it doesn't get stuck on your Baja steps.

Best deal for a high capacity for tablet floater lasts about 2 years, in the Arizona Sun
