I am a snorer, and have used these straps for years. Tried others, used to use ones that were much thicker and not as breathable. Once I found these, was one happy camper. They are breathable yet strong, very easily adjustable, keeps my jaw closed. One night last week I forgot to put mine on, and woke up 2-3 times during the night with the driest mouth. At 4pm realized what I did, slipped it on, and woke up several hours later with no issues whatsoever. If you snore, and wake up with a bone dry mouth, do yourself a favor and use these. Yes, you look funny, but it only takes a day or 2 to get used to it, and you sleep much better. I can't imagine not having them.

Bottom line: it didn't work to keep my mouth closed while I sleep, so it's basically useless. The overall quality is poor. It's just cheaply made. The holes for the ears are just raggedly snipped through the fabric. The velcro fasteners are the kind on plastic, not soft cloth, and they are glued on with a single row of about a half-dozen stitches as reinforcement. When I first opened it, it smelled like some kind of VOC solvent, and it took 2 washes with extra rinsing and then several days of airing out before I could use it. The plus side is that it wasn't uncomfortable to wear, but that hardly matters when it failed in its primary purpose: it didn't keep my mouth shut while I slept. I tried it a second night with the velcro set tighter. It still didn't work. Still snoring, still waking up with a dry mouth. Complete failure. Waste of money.

I bought this because I needed a new chin strap and even though it's very comfortable it really doesn't hold my mouth closed like it should it's very thin and flimsy that being said it does stay fastened that's all I can say about this product

It can pull your jaw to the back as well as keeping your mouth closed. Minor adjustments can help keeping your jaw closed versus pulling it to the back. Otherwise works well.

I am very happy with this chin strap. It keeps my mouth closed while I wear my CPAP mask. On Sept 12, 2023 I bought my first one. It is showing some wear. Recently, I wanted another one as a Back-up. I clicked on the Buy Again link and found it had been discontinued. So I was forced to try EIGHT others. But they were either too small, too stiff, the fabric irritated my skin or did not fit due to poor design. So I searched using the manufacture's name, Yootar. And I found it at a higher price, repackaged with ear plugs. Yes, the fabric stretches a bit because I have a large head. But it is cool, does not irritate my skin and works. It is well worth the higher price. I am still in love with it.

This is a very soft, extremely thin and flexible, comfortable chin strap; that's why it got two stars. I tried it on and then took it off; when I removed it, I checked the workmanship. At this point I noticed that the areas around the ears had simply been cut and not bound. Cut elastic? How long will this hold up before fraying? In order to find out, I gave the area a VERY light pull -- and it tore from the unbound ends into the perforations that are there for air circulation. Needless to say, I'll be returning it.

I've been using a CPAP for more than 8 years, but can't use a full face mask. Since I use nasal pillows, I need a way to keep my mouth shut. I have tried at least 10 different brands and this one is BY FAR the most comfortable. I'm so happy with it I immediately ordered a second one. Whoever designed this was a genius. All the other brands are scratchy and thick. And even though a lot of them look the same, the other brands are all different sizes, so you never know how it's going to fit. If possible, I'm never switching from this.

I purchased this chin strap hoping it would help keep my mouth closed while sleeping, especially as a CPAP user. Unfortunately, the strap was simply too small and did not fit comfortably despite the adjustable design. My bigger disappointment, however, was discovering that the item is not eligible for return. This is not a food product, personal care item, or something I would reasonably expect to be non-refundable. Had I known that before purchasing, I likely would have chosen a different product. Amazon should do a much better job of clearly highlighting when an item is non-returnable. While the information may be listed somewhere on the product page, it is not prominent enough and can be easily overlooked during the purchasing process. As for the product itself, those with smaller head sizes may have better luck, but if you’re concerned about fit, be aware that returning it may not be an option.
