Very happy
I have lived in South Florida most of my life. I recently moved to Atlanta. I realize it doesn't get that cold here but still colder than I am use to. I was struggling to keep my feet warm. I work in a bucket truck all day as a lineman and my toes were frozen. These boots are awesome. They keep my feet and toes warm. They are comfortable and offer a good grip on many different surfaces

Absolutely outstanding
Given it's only been about 30°F where I'm at currently, I couldn't wait to try these bad boys on. I wore my simple every day socks and I was so damn impressed at how hot my feet actually were. I have no doubt these will keep my feet warm and dry when the temps drop even further. The winter traction is a little oversold as they do grip, better then the AriatsI just tried by far but still don't the full grab I'd like. Shingles or rough terrain I believe you'd grip well enough to walk a 12/12 honestly but I'd still be careful on a 3/12 metal roof with some light frost or pollen. Time will truly tell. Needs a little break in period is it fits very snugly around the ankles as I believe footwear should but you definitely have to loosen up some places just to get them on. Lastly the laces are seeminly thin as previous reviewers have expressed but they feel as though they are tougher then meets the eye as I already put them through some testing. Overall 9.5/10 for a winter boot

Favorite boot so far.
Been wearing these daily for around a year now, and they are still my favorite boot so far. I can walk in any condition without concern for my feet. Definitely will be buying another pair in the future just to have a spare. They look good and feel comfortable right out of the box. The break-in period with these are not bad at all. Some boots feel like bricks until they get some miles in them. I did not find that to be the case with these. I tossed in a pair of good insoles and i was off to work. My back did not seem to hurt at all from these boots even after 11+ hour work days. I've been caught outside in some pretty rough conditions with these boots on but always had dry feet when I got home. If you like a good tough boot that both feels good and looks good too, give these a try. I think you will like them.

I don't normally leave reviews however...
These boots are the most comfortable, durable boots I've ever purchased. This is my second pair. I work in a freezer warehouse, 12 hours shifts and my first pair lasted 2 years. They have kept my feet warm and dry and forgetting that I'm walking/standing on frozen concrete floors. I highly recommend this boot for outdoor cold weather winter boots or like myself if you work in cold storage warehouse condions. They are a bit bulky but they are solid boots. Feet feel firmly, yet comfortably planted. They also look great, I have received several compliments on my boots people asking what they are and ect.. they are on the expensive side yes I admitt that but to me it's worth it and any other boot is just sub par. This is a PROPER pair of boots

Warm Winter Boots
I love how Carhartt designed these boots to keep your feet safe, WARM, and dry from the elements. I've had these for 30 days. I work on huge project sites that see 4 seasons. Here are things I look for in a work boot: COMFORT- my feet are definitely warm and may sweat if socks are too thick (adjust for ambient temps). The inserts became unbearably uncomfortable after a week. The originals are layered so be aware of that before throwing in another layer on top of them. The boots are beefy so fatigue is an issue if you don't lace up correctly or have uncomfortable pads. The outer style is very tough, thick, and durable, so if flexion is what you're looking for keep looking, lol. I'm flat footed so, there's that. And the type box has plenty of space (depending on your insole preferences). SAFETY- The safety toe and high heel protection are great. Again the thickness of the outer sole is a little stiff and won't allow sharp objects to puncture. I kicked nails flat that protruded through lumber. These come up to my calves so ankle support gets a 10 on my score card! WATERPROOF- It's only been 30 days, but so far through rain and snow I have no complaints. There is a material on the outer that spans from the top of the toe cap to the EVA-type heel protection (don't remember what it is exactly) which keeps the moisture out. It also makes them easy to clean off the mud which leads to durability. DURABILITY- this is a tough boot that will last years if you don't wear the sole out first, or use them for kicking nails down on the regular (iykyk). Because these are taller and have a rigid outer and upper I only feel fatigue now if I lace up incorrectly (edit: they're broken in now and no pinching occurs). Walking over multiple surfaces from concrete, mud, class 1-4 rocks, lumber and work-site materials these boots take it all on. WARMTH- With 1000g of insulation these boots keep warmth in!!! Depending on your body you may want to wear socks that balance between comfort and breathability. I could stand in these outside all day in 10 deg. weather and my feet wouldn't know its not summer. All things considered i would DEFINITELY buy these again with a superbly soft and cushioned insole. It's worth the $$$ to get the job done with no worries.

Excellent Winter Work Boot
I deliver Oil and Propane in Northern New England and I am trudging through the snow and rain and ice on a daily basis and these boots keep my feet fairly warm (definitely warm enough, I do wear Darn Tough wool socks) and dry. I have seen reviews of people complaining about the locking eyelets for the laces and also the back of the boots ripping apart. That has not been my experience. I think those people are not unlacing the boots enough when they remove them and they might explain the back ripping? Like I said I deliver fuel so I’m not digging ditches so I guess if you are digging ditches maybe they wouldn’t perform as well as they have for me but I find that they are rugged and can handle anything I’ve experienced and all while being comfortable for 12 hour days 6 days a week. The break in period was minimal and I didn’t need to treat them with anything for water proofing. The toe box is roomy but not to much and it’s a composite toe so you don’t need to worry about your toes getting crushed. If I had to pick something that I didn’t like it would be that my ice cleats barely fit but they do fit. I wouldn’t wear these in warmer months they are made for cold and snowy/ice conditions. I would also say you may want to go down a half size for a perfect fit. Hope this helps.
