Everything you need to enjoy all the current expansion
This is a favorite game of my wife and I. The art works is amazing, the components are good quality, and the weight is just enough for a quick game still containing strategy. Gameplay is simple and adding/removing the expansions is not difficult at all. All the rules are set out in one book, easy to learn, and handily cross referenced. The game with an expansion can take up quite some room on the table, especially if you're playing with four to five players. The other minor drawback is that this huge box must be stored horizontally or the resources will spill out and get mingled together. Other than that, the box and its inserts organize everything very nicely. The card dividers are very helpful. This it isn't 100% complete, however what's missing is mere convivence and not gameplay. There is an upgraded storage container package that isn't included but is very handy for keeping all the recourses from rolling around on the table. Also, there is an advertisement in the back of one of the books for some short stories set in the world, however this item doesn't seem to be for retail. It was part of a kickstarted package and I've not been able find for less than $70 on third party site. Again, this is just a minor gripe from me. Great for casual hobby gamers or those looking for a medium weight, quick play. Lots of content for the money and far more economical than buy all the expansion separate.

A beautifully crafted game for two!
I bought Everdell as a gift for my wife and we mostly enjoy playing it just the two of us, but it's fun with 4 players just as much. It's beautiful game with exquisite artwork and a very immersive theme, where players take turns placing woodland creature workers and playing cards to build a thriving forest city across the changing seasons. It’s easy to learn in a couple of rounds, but deep enough to stay engaging every time we bring it to the table. The game components are high quality, and the collector's edition we own also adds extra cards, more meeples to choose from and metal tokens that are not found in the standard version. Very recommended!

Easy to learn, fun to play, lots of replayability
This is a super fun game with quality components. This game is easy to learn, and there is a play through video on you tube that runs just over 17 minutes that makes learning how to play even easier. I was going to kickstart this game, but somehow I forgot to back it. So I bought the collector's edition and all the expansions on Amazon from Tabletop Tycoons, which they packed the games very well and I received well ahead of schedule. This game has a lot of replayability and it is a different game each time you play. That is very important to me when buying games because I want to be able to play them time and again. This is also a great game for the whole family to sit around the table for family game time. The art work is amazing and the game components are cleverly made. The price of the game is very much worth it for the quality of the game and the fun family time you are going to get from playing it. This is a game that is going to be on our gaming table very frequently. I hope this helps you in your decision making about purchasing the game. Have fun board gaming and I sincerely hope that you enjoy this game as much as my family and I do playing this game.

Great game!
We always play catan, so this was a nice change! It was very easy to learn and the depth of strategy great. The first time we played it took longer than usual. But after the first go around it moved faster. The components are beautiful!

Beautiful and fun to play!
Just like any board game, it takes some time to read the rule and learn the game. Once you get the hang of it, it's fun to play. The set up and cards are beautiful to look at and I enjoy playing with with family and friends. Good quality pieces and each game is different. I have played this game multiple times and it's fun.

Wonderfully themed game...
Pros: -Easy to learn -Quality game pieces -Cards are plastic coated...like a deck of playing cards...very durable and easy to shuffle -Packed in a durable crush-proof box. No chance of this game getting damaged in shipping, because of the shoddy Amazon packaging...i.e Game thrown loosely into an oversized box with 1 piece of bubble packaging. Cons: -The tree The tree is manufactured with extremely tight tolerances, making it extremely difficult to put together. The slits are too narrow. To say the assembly process is stiff is an understatement. It took quite a bit of pressure to assemble all the pieces to where it was flush with the table. With repeated breakdown and assembly, I am convinced the tree's edges will become frayed over a short period of time. For these reasons, I simply leave the tree assembled, which makes storage a bit awkward. -Extra assembly of the occupied tokens You pay this much for a game, you shouldn't have to finish the general assembly by putting tiny little stickers on tiny little game pieces. As someone with not a lot of dexterity in their fingers, this was downright annoying. -Game tray insert A lot of space is wasted with the game tray insert. It would have been helpful to have a bit more space to fit storage containers or make a couple more smaller trays in the insert for the smaller pieces. Ziploc bags are of the devil and should only be a solution for shipping a game, not permanent storage. Conclusion -------------- Despite the listed cons, this version of Everdell an extremely nice edition of the game and quite possibly the nicest game I own. The cards all by themselves are simply beautiful. The game is easy to learn. With each turn, you have a ton of choices to make. If you're prone to analysis paralysis, you might feel overwhelmed at first. As you get the hang of the mechanics, the game becomes easier and turns become much quicker. Normally this would easily be a 5 star game, but due to the listed cons, Everdell gets 4 stars.

Great game for casual or advanced gamers
I purchased this game on sale because I had seen it at target a number of times and thought the box art looked pretty cool. Turns out the game is a wholesome outdoor adventure game, where you and your friends have to prepare for the winter season. It is a great experience for anyone who is into engine building games. The first play through will take some time learn the gameplay and get used to the turns and how to prioritize cards however, overtime it becomes a very fun opportunity to create cool combinations of abilities and creatures. I love that Everdell incorporates a lot of physical elements, such as the pieces for food, the big tree and the event tiles. The only downside is that the tree is hard to disassemble, but my wife and I usually leave it up as decoration until we play. The price point feels somewhat accurate given the quality of the game pieces and the amount of items. However, it frequently goes on sale so if you keep your eye out, you should be able to get a good deal overall a very enjoyable game for two or more!

Wholesome board game for couples
This is a wonder little game. My husband and I have been playing through the co-operative campaign as fairly novice boardgamers. Learning the rules and setup took us about 2 hours but after that initial investment gameplay is lovely, the artwork is so wholesome and we’re really enjoying working together. We purchased some organisers for the cards and items from Etsy which is a HUGE quality of life improvement. The some of the campaign chapters are really hard (looking at you The Plagues). Best advice I would say is don’t be discouraged, replay and think about how you can use cards together to play them for fewer resources TLDR: if you can make the initial time investment learning how to play, you should really enjoy it and the mechanics work great for a couple game
