I’m using these LEDs to replace old halogens in my kitchen ceiling. They are wonderful! Love the 4000k (kelvin) color hue. To me, 3000k is too yellow to see well, and 5000k is to glaring. We have been in the process of changing all the lights in our house to 4000k. The light from these bulbs is both whiter and brighter than the old halogens. They were easy to install. They have the two little nubs at the end. For our recessed light ceiling fixtures, you just push the bulb in and twist. They work well, come on immediately with no hesitation, and no flickering or anything like that. I do recommend these bulbs. They are infinitely better than the old hot halogen bulbs that you’re not even supposed to touch on the glass. The halogens kept blowing out. These have a really nice long life. Brighter and uses less power then the halogen bulb it replaced! Also runs a LOT cooler and does not burn my fingers when lit at all. The four pack should last the life of the tree without having to worry about finding/getting replacements.

For the price, they're fine. Expect them to last 16-18months.

The bulbs work great and the price was sublime since I was paying more for a single bulb than the 4-pack I purchased through Amazon.

I upgraded my backyard lights to LED (MR16) a few years ago, but with some getting yellow-ish or burning out, I decided to replace them all with these new 5W bulbs. They appear well-built, and the light output is very good, equal or better than my old 9-12W LED bulbs. I went for the 4000K variant and it's perfect for us, it seems "natural", not too yellow and not too blue, very neutral and pleasant to the eye. Time will tell about longevity but for now it seems like a good purchase.

Fits and works. Not easy to find

I liked the bright white light (I bought the 4000K ones) but 3 out of 4 of the lamps have visible and annoying flicker.

We put a lot of track lighting in when we did our last remodel. At the time, these kinds of bulbs were only available as halogens. LEDs are tons cheaper to run and the light is softer, so we've replaced many of the halogens and so far these have been working just fine. And found a good price point during Amazon Prime Days.
