This was a gift for a neighbor who at 98, sits in her recliner a LOT. Recently she had a pressure sore from this. Initially had an old piece of egg crate foam which had to be reset every couple days as it would slide down into the back of the chair as she sat down. It did offer some pressure relief but was wearing down so got this to replace it. She reports this cushion is very comfortable. The cushion cover has a non-skid side which works well to not allow the cushion to move around in the chair. I would recommend this for anyone who sits much of the day and has trouble changing position. I did research before buying, looking for "best pressure relief chair cushion" and found an article on a site dealing with issues of wheelchair bound people. This cushion was listed in their "10 best" list yet was very affordable.

Meh. I did a ton of review research prior to purchasing this seat cushion and I was very excited when it arrived in the mail. Immediately, I was thrown off by the packaging; this appears to just be a generic 'egg sitter' cushion (not even the ones that are advertised on TV) that's simply advertised and marketed differently on Amazon. I will say that the first couple days in it were okay, but now that I've had dozens of hours sitting on it I feel equipped to offer real insight.First, the material inside the cushion seems to be fraying or deteriorating after least than 3 months of consistent, daily use. It's still in tact, but their are pieces of the material that have worn and lost their effectiveness to efficiently distribute weightSecond, and perhaps most importantly, this thing just isn't that comfortable; and really, isn't that what you're reading this review in hopes of learning? Sure, it's better than nothing. But that's an exceedingly low bar.In conclusion, if you are searching for a way to upgrade your home office or chair, look elsewhere.

I got this to use on my Concept2 Model D rowing machine and it works like a charm. Even my wife likes it. She had been using a folded up a thick towel and I used that too. Started rowing longer (50 minutes) so I figured now is the time to get that gel cushion to see if that would help. Now I can also use it during the general election as a poll worker - sitting for 12 plus hours.

Very helpful with my back pain. I’m constantly sitting down for my job. I do a lot of driving to and from so my back hurts quite a bit. Having this has helped easy some of the pain. It’s light weight so I can take it inside to my desk when needed. Very thankful for this product

Had this on my office chair for 6 weeks. Wasn’t very comfortable but it was adequate. Last week or so it started feeling worse and today I noticed something was off. I took it out of the covering and it was coming apart and had developed holes. See the photo. I rotated this often but it is not very durable. Look for a gel memory foam or better but don’t waste your money or tine with this.I'm 6' 2" 220 lbs. This should have been much more durable.

Man this thing is amazing especially for the money. I bring this to my daughter‘s volleyball games because the bleachers are so uncomfortable. Everyone is jealous and tries to steal it from me. I shared this link with all my friends and now they have one too. I like it because it travels easy to you can roll it up throw it in your purse or your backpack.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, he plays the box drum for our church's worship team and has been complaining about sitting on a hard surface for long periods. He ended up getting an actual box drum cushion from the church, so he has been using this in his office chair. He said it hasn't relieved his back pain, but it makes his seat more comfortable.
