Despite lots of devices using Li-Ion batteries these days I've actually found that the number of devices around the house that require AA batteries has increased. Things like digital cameras, remote controls, wireless computer keyboards, wireless mice, console joypads, Oculus Rift touch controllers, children's toys and even electronic doorbells, to name a few, all still seem to require them. The nice thing about these batteries is that they arrive pre-charged so they don't require charging (although I suspect they will not be charged to 100%). They also claim to retain 80% of their change after 12 months if they are not used which is great news for the ones that I have stored in the man drawer. These can also be recharged up to 400 times... if that's true then these are going to last a long time!
