These work great, bought them initially for my outdoor xmas lights and indoor xmas tree lights. Took a bit to figure out how they work, opposite of how I thought they should. The pegs are easy to push and pull out based on the time you want set. Been using one since xmas on my outdoor balcony lights, they work great and easy to adjust once you know how, was probably more me then the directions at first. But for 7 months been working daily without an issue. Definitely happy with these timer units. Certainly beats turning lights off by hand every day, especially nice for the xmas tree, not having to reach under each evening to pull the plug out. Same for my balcony lights. Actually bought a set for a neighbor as well, and they love them.

This worked very well for a heat lamp in my shop this winter. I had 7 kittens that were too young to be out in the cold. I also have heat down there, but I used the heat lamp at night to give an extra warm spot to sleep. It worked great all winter. It is very easy to use. I prefer this over the digital type. These seem more durable. They are definitely easier to program and operate. The price was right, so I bought the 2 pack. I may never need 2, but I'd rather have an extra and not need it, than not have an extra and need it. I highly recommend this timer.

I purchased three of these for different rooms throughout the house. I've tried the more complicated (expensive) digital types and didn't like any of them. At the end of the day, old school mechanical works nearly every time and is easier to use (so you will actually use it). Great value for the money and timekeeping is fairly accurate. I'm pleased with this purchase, and I will buy again if and when I need too.

These work great, getting the times set is a little confusing

I just replaced my 5 yr old GE timer for my heated towel rack because it was getting a bit loud. This new GE timer is so quiet I didn’t think it was on. Sleek and so far completely silent. Installed in seconds.

Works as it should. The timer comes with pins all pushed down meaning the timer is on 24/7. Make sure to to pull up all pins and push down only the time you would like to set on or pull up the time you would like it off and leave the rest in the down position. I've read some of the comments people thought it's broken. 1st picture is the default which it is set to be on 24/7. 2nd picture is set to be on from 6:30PM-6:30AM where all dark side are pushed down.

Easy to use

The GE mechanical timer 4 pack is a good buy for excellent quality and reliability. With no batteries required, this timer is easy to set up in less than two minutes. The box comes with simple instructions. There is one three pronged outlet on either side of the timer which offers the opportunity to set up two separate devices on one timer (same time). With a quick push of the side switch, the timer can instantly turn the outlet on to use your device on the spot. I have an older edition of GE’s timer and it still works after 20 years. No doubt these will stand the test of time as well.

Basically my headline says it all. Nothing complicated whatsoever about these. They seem to work really well and build quality is much better than I expected for an inexpensive plastic thingy . These run virtually silent except for the moments when switches are engaged.
