Yamaha Portable PA System Stagepas 1k

First of all, this thing was a little out of my budget. I wanted a system to sing karaoke at home with the family and friends. I could have bought a more affordable Yamaha PA system but I love the look of the Stagepas 1k and the ability to break it down. I am not an audiophile but I was blown away with the highs and lows of this thing. With not being able to attend concerts due to the coronavirus, the Stagepas 1k made me feel like I was at a show again. The bass hits hard and you feel it in your chest. I haven't even pushed the master volume passed the half way point. I purchased a wireless mic system and was able to plug it into one of the many inputs on the rear of the Stagepas 1k. I love the amount of channels and Bluetooth capabilities of this device. I am going to save up some money and purchase a second unit and hook them up in a stereo connection. The fiance loves the Stagepas 1k and I don't have any buyers remorse. It's great to have some theater like sound when watching a movie or Netflix too. We've hooked up electric drums to the Stagepas 1k and had a blast with those too. There are so many things you can do with this system. I love it! Get one, you won't regret it.

First, I would like to say that Alto Music was fantastic to deal with. The shipping arrived way before expected! I was blown away! I sent them a question and they responded within 30 minutes as well! I highly recommend Alto Music and will make all further purchases through them! The speakers are phenomenal! The bass response is unbelievable and the highs are crystal clear. The features are pro audio level. Very easy to set up and tear down, less than two minutes TOPS! I am completely blown away with my purchase!

I absolute love the Yamaha Portable PA System Stage 1k. It has everything you need for quality sound. I was debating between BOSS and Yamaha, but after watching And listening videos about 2 products on YouTube, I made my final decision and go ahead and bought the Yamaha PA System Stage 1k. I am professional acoustic/electric violinist, and it’s really good sound system to play with for the events. I definitely recommend this product. Also, you might need a Yamaha DL-SP1K Transport Dolly for STAGEPAS 1K Speaker System (it’s a little heavy to carry it around):)

Good amplification, no feedback, good bass and good EQ in general. About 50 pounds of weight but am glad to have it. Need to have wifi where you are playing to use the bluetooth from your phone, phone 4G will not work for your bluetooth in the Stagepas.

Seminars had clear and clean audio

The portability is very good. The sound is cheap. If your looking to amplify drums, keyboards, guitar and bass guitar dont buy this. The thrid party doesnt accept returns because of chemicals or gases inside the unit. Although other sellers do take returns. Beware of that and lookout for those chemicals or gases you'll be transporting around. That is if you even want to buy this junk system.

I have had this now for nearly 5 year now and yes it is heavy. its about 55 lbs when lugging it around. I eventually bought a used Bose L1Compact and though the bass is not that strong. it definelty is clear and can reach vast distances. I think the Stagepas 1K will work better for DJ set up and also for the outdoors and not meant for indoors. Also I used to connect my small amp to this via a TS cable and I have realized that you need to hook it up to the stagepas as a XLR. so you have to buy a TS cable to an XLR to have a better sound. Especially when the indoor venue would like to connect their end to it. I am looking at bringing this to the beach next week for my gig. I have not used it since 2022 so being i am going to be performing in an open space. We shall see how effective this will be in the open. I am hooking up a 1000 Watt Anker Battery as the power supply and see how that holds up. But as of now I can say that I do give it 4 Stars 1 star less for the weight.

My feelings about this portable speaker is extremely mixed, and much more toward the downside. First, the design. It is extremely STRANGE. Ergonomically, it just doesn't make any sense to me, from the ground, up. It's heavy as hell, has a flimsy tweeter tower, and I cannot get used to working with a mixing board positioned so slow low, especially with my bad back. Secondly, the volume. While it can fill a small room well, when you really need the volume that I THOUGHT this 1,000-watt beast would put out, it simply doesn't deliver, and I have it cranked it all the way to the max, and the overall sound quality just doesn't make the high cost worth it. Finally, when I just plugged in my new condenser mic, I discovered after owning it for over a month, I learned THE HARD WAY that this expensive unit doesn't even have phantom power!! WHAT??? When you have a speaker with all the "bells and whistles" you'd EXPECT it to have this feature but it does not, it's a very troubling development. In a small room, my dynamic mics experience a huge feedback problem, and I had recently purchased a condenser microphone just to eliminate the problem that now I can't even use. I'm keeping my tiny Bose S1 for my singing dates, and selling this thing, without delay. Started optimistic, but now very unhappy about everything about this contraption :(

Estaba entre la Bose L1, JBL EON One Pro y está, opté por comprar la Yamaha y no me arrepiento. Soy Saxofonista. Excelente fidelidad auditiva, portabilidad y un bajo potente. Increíble!

I am using it as a monitor in my jam room right now. Vocals, guitar emulator and bass work great through it. Can't wait to try it live.

Amazing sound. Simple to use. Powerful bass. Clear hi frequencies. Perfect for a duo or trio. Heck - get TWO and LINK them together for double the inputs. Truly the perfect PA for a live act or DJ. Love it!

En general bien, creo que es más adecuado pa dj's que para músicos, podrian mejorar en la definicion las frecuencias medias agudas, pero no esta mal; sería bueno que también incluyeran phantom power.
