ECOGARD XA6052 Premium Engine Air Filter | Fits 2009-2014 Honda Fit 1.5L; 2010-2014 City 1.5L

This filter is a better replacement for OEM and priced reasonably. Honda wanted $33 for a filter! $33! That's crazy! I opted for this since it's cheaper and basically does the same thing. Purchased for a 2015 and 2013 honda fit

It Fits our Fit! Our 2013 Honda Fit has currently 61k miles. We took it to do an oil change at the dealership and they recommended changing the Cabin and Engine filter. Total cost for changing both would have been $130!!! $80 for the Engine Air Filter and $50 for the cabin air filter. I looked online at multiple brands and decided on ECOGARD. It cost us less than $25 for both items and it took me 10 min to install both the cabin and air filter! (I saw a video on youtube) I waited to do this review to ensure the quality is as good as the OEM filter. Installed the filter at 56k miles and I can truly say that this filter actually made the car feel new again! I WILL ADVISE YOU THAT THE GUIDE ARROWS ON THE FILTERS DO NOT MATCH, SO PAY ATTENTION TO THE PATTERN OF THE OLD FILTER AND INSTALL IT THE SAME WAY. (This goes for both the cabin and engine air filter)

good fit, easy to install

Fits in my 2009 Honda Fit Sport w/ Navi perfectly. It took me about 5 minutes to pop the hood, unclip the four clips that hold the engine air filter in place, and then replace my old filter with this one. With that being said, I would recommend you pay close attention to how the side clips attach. I thought I knew and when I tried to snap both side clips into place they sprung off the metal clips and I lost them somewhere and had to buy replacements. I can't specifically talk about the filtering elements, but this seems like it will do the trick. This definitely beats paying Honda to do this for $60 or so when you can just buy the filter yourself and do it in less than 10 minutes (even if you're new at it).

Easy to install and good value. Watch a video online on how to DIY install your engine air filter and save $$$. Can't believe they charge so much nowadays for cabin and engine filters and this is a great way to install your own filters.

Edit: I didnt know cars had two filter spots. It worked perfectly in the correct one. Looks well made. Not sure why my 2012 Honda fit is a different style though.

I ordered this cabin air filter and engine air filter, both delivered as promised without intact. I watched Youtube vide before trying it and so installation is pretty smooth. Before inserting back the new cabinet air filter, I sprayed Lysol anti-bacteria and wait to dry out because I smell mold. Anyway, the product is just fit and no complain after using 10 days. My engine runs much smoother too because my engine air filter was totally awful. Overall, I have no problem buying them again at this time. I will see for one year later.
