These are fantastic pliers. My son bought a similar pair of pliers from a local tackle shop for $40. These pliers actually worked better than his purchase. The point of the pliers made it easier to maneuver when working with lures, swivels, and taking hooks out of fish. One of my more favorite purchases as of late. Also the lanyard hooks to our knife/hook rack on the boat ensuring that it never gets misplaced.

The LOMIDA Aluminum Fishing Pliers are exactly what I needed to remove hooks from fish and turtles. The cutters are razor sharp and convenient to use rather than looking for a knife of clippers. I am able to extract hooks easily compared to using forceps or regular needle nose pliers. The price is exceptional, the case and attached cord is and added plus. I suggest new anglers or the most experienced give the pliers a try, you won't be disappointed.

received the pliers they seem to be pretty good quality, took it out with me today but i noticed the pliers don’t close all the way there’s a gap between the jaws, tried putting split rings on and it was kind of hard to do it with the pliers not closing all the way... is there a way to send me another one and i send this one back? this is with the handles pressed and closed all the way. I can't believe anyone would pay 2, 3, even 5 times more money when these things work great! Handle hook removal, cutting braided line, and saltwater wonderfully!

I've been wanting a well built and light fishing pliers and this filled the bill. My other pliers would rust and this should not. Works great and I love it.

Very good but does not have a catch to keep the pliers closed. Very annoying. Pouch could be better designed to fit fishing bags with carabiner attachments. Overall a good thing and does what it is meant to.

I am a saltwater wade fisherman. These pliers hang from my fishing vest. They are well built and well worth the buy. Nothing is perfect but, these pliers are well worth the price. Also, can just be part of your fishing tackel box. Good buy.
