Transformers TF Generations TG-19 Grimlock (japan import)

Terrible Quality of plastic and not secure at all. Very flimsy and loose. Definitely not worth near $100 at all.

I LOVE this Grimlock figure. The colors are a little darker, but reminiscent of his G1 form, and don't seem as "bland" to me as the Hasbro version. The gold on his chest really stands out (though nowhere near as much as on the "Platinum Edition".), and the red in his robot mode abdomen brings the whole thing together nicely. Grimlock's sword is also colored differently from the Hasbro version. It's missing the black edge on the back of the blade, which if I'm not mistaken, is how it looked in the game anyway, so kudos for that. Obviously, transformation is the same, so nothing different there.To make a long story short, I'm extremely pleased with this figure.

Hollow and flimsy the paint's good, it really does it justice to the game model but if you try messing with it. It falls apart. The shoulders are terribly tight on mine and there's a stress mark on the joint connecting to the main torso just from how tight it is to move it outward .It has it's positives it looks great,in robot mode at least, but in dino mode it's awkward looking with that out of proportion tail. Don't bother with the Takara version or Hasbro version no amount of paint can make this thing decent to actually mess around with.
