A: This socket fits a 7/8 inch rail   The 7/8 inch rail fits the the inside socket

**Q: What do I order for a 1-1/4" slide opening rear mount bracket 2-5/8" long?**
A: These brackets that I ordered were replacements for brackets that were broken. I used the existing drawer rails. hope this helped.

**Q: Do they make these out of metal? The plastic is always breaking.**
A: There are metal brackets available. I did find some when I was doing my research..however, I went with these and they are stronger than the brackets that came with my 2011 Thor...it's been more than a year of pretty much full time use and I haven't had any issues..

**Q: Will this bracket fit 7211 drawer slides**
A: Yes they can as well as item # R 7240.

These worked for my application, but I did have to modify them somewhat, as my rails had a slight downward bend at the back end, where these brackets go, and these are made for straight rails. No problem, a sharp pocketknife was all I needed, and these worked just fine. I didn't use the screws provided, as my old bracket used much shorter screws, and I didn't want to make bigger/deeper holes. The plastic seems sturdy enough, but time will tell, the last set lasted about 2 years before they got brittle and crumbled (different brand)
