LiftMaster883LM Security+ 2.0 MyQ Door Control Push Button

Super easy install. Remove the two screws that secure your button to the wall. Loosen the two screws holding the wires, take the new button and secure the red wire to the screw that says “red” and the white wire to the screw that says “white”. Then secure to the wall with the two screws. Install took about two minutes, and it worked with zero programming. Easy DIY project.

Good switches works better than the switches that came with my chamberlain my q openers. This worked on my opener and I have the yellow program button if youre wondering. Also these are wired not wireless. When looking I was a bit confused but they are hardwired. On that point they absolutely can function as a second switch for the door. Chamberlain and lift master say some models don't have the option. The opener is just looking for the right signal from the wire. I ran a seperate set of wires next to the garage door and installed this switch there. Then hooked the wires in parallel with the existing wires that were there for the switches on the wall at the other side of the garage. Both switches work perfectly. I can open the door while walking out of my house through the garage and then close it as im walking out of the garage through the garage door. I have two garage door with the exact same openers and this work perfectly for both of them. The buttons seem to control the openers better than the ones installed with the openers. Also the light button on the side works. It turns on the opener light no extra wiring needed. Hopefully my long ass review helps someone.

I wanted a second button for my garage opener. This one operates the door perfectly and works with the other one. Easy to install.

Bought a Chamberlain C205 opener for my detached garage. The two wired buttons (garage and house) from my old opener were incompatible with the Security 2.0+ feature, and only one button was included with the new opener, so I bought this one to go in the garage. Despite Chamberlain's claim that you can only have one push button, this one works fine as a second. Easy to install... just remove the old switch, and attach the new one to the existing wiring. I like the light feature, so I can turn the light on and off while in the garage.

Added as second button on same opener and it works perfectly.

These buttons work great but no worth the money. But they got you by the short hairs and charge premium money for the only product that works with their system.

Recently installed a Chamberlain B2401 Smart Garage Door Opener. I wanted a simple, second wall button adjacent to the door itself. Being a MyQ Smart opener, a simple doorbell button would not work. After a little research I was led to this button. I installed it in parallel (2nd set pair of wires connecting into the opener) to the wall control that came with the opener. Exactly what I wanted!Kind of nice that the button glows and there is a 2nd button on the side to turn on the overhead (opener) lights.

Excellent garage door button if you have myQ garage door openers

This was a great low cost additional door opener button, great quality and worked perfectly with my new Chamberlain opener

It was simple. Our garage door openers came with only one opening button. We wanted a second one to open the doors from another entrance

They work perfectly and have been easily installed. However, the refund for the wall controls which were incompatible with my new system and which have been sent back did not arrive yet. I wait patiently and confidently for it , hoping to get it before 2020 . I trust Amazon 100% .

Our garage door can be operated by one of two wired switch locations in our garage. But our new door opener only came with a master panel switch. Complicating the issue, is a regular door bell button will no longer work on our 2-wire system.Rather than purchase another master switch - this a perfect option for our second button. Works great!!!
