I loved it!
This book and this series was something that I so enjoyed. The story pulls you into the family and the trials that they go through, you can relate to them. Through this book and series, I was reminded of all the awesome things that God can do in our lives, and even when they don't turn out the way we want them, God is still loving us and in control. I read all 14 of the Baxter books in 30 days and was so sad when I finally finished the last book. However, I have moved on to the "Above the Line" series and it is nice that we still get peeks of the Baxter family. I had borrowed several of these books from the library when I was reading them, but I think that I will actually end up buying them for my Kindle so I can read them again. It's definitely a keeper and I would recommend it to anyone, especially those who are going through tough times and need to be reminded of the hope in Jesus Christ.

This author is Awesome
I am used to spending my time reading books that take me back in time for an escape. I am an avid book reader but love "Happily Ever After" with struggles on the way. I have been blown away with the writings of Karen Kingsbury. I have laughed and cried and prayed and yelled at the characters in this series. God is such a part of these books and discovering that relationship with God and how he can turn our trials into triumphs is what makes these books awesome. It has been a long time since I have enjoyed a book that is modern day and it is just what I need.

Definitely one of my favorites in the series!
The characters in the Baxter family are so relatable to my family and friends. The faith component woven into each and every book and character are beautiful in their brokenness and their wholeness. God is good!

Great story
Have loved each of these books and can't wait for the next one. I love how God is part of everything this family and the characters do. It gives me thought for my own daily walk with God. I have enjoyed getting to know these characters and how they deal with problems through prayer and deep faith. Thanks for bringing God's incredible love for us to light by showing how he works in the lives of the characters in these books. He is more in the forefront of my daily walk than eve before.

loved this book as well
Loved how the group wax able to forgive Jermey for the accident that killed their two friends, the accident being a result of drunk driving. My mother in law had a drinking problem, I think I can now forgive her for all the unpleasant thing she caused my family to endure
