Can now wear shoes that were just that little bit too big....
I have some brand new loafers in size 5...in sandals I wear a 4 but closed shoes really need to be 41/2 but it's just practically impossible to find half-sizes nowadays unless you're willing to pay out for more up-market brands....yet my shoes are so lovely but just need to fit properly. A 5 sometimes is just about ok but sadly this time, much too loose but a 4 pushed and cramped my toes to the front ...so when I saw these had such amazing reviews I thought that they were worth a try as it wouldn't be too expensive a loss if unsuccessful or still might come in useful later on. They arrived today, speedily in less than 24 hours!...so I tried them immediately to find that the comfort is as described, lovely soft padding...they almost fill out the gap but were still not really fitting snugly so I also adhered one on each side of the shoe with great success; adhesion is strong and secure and I was careful how I put my shoes on so as not to risk dislodging them by being rough or careless. The only "downside" for me is in the fact that they do not actually grip, being smooth, soft padded little cushions so they still slipped off my heel quite a bit when I tried my shoes on in bare feet.....however....Hurrah!....socks and pop-socks worked a treat and are the answer to that little dilemma. Socks in particular were great probably being that little bit thicker but pop-socks (or tights) still were no problem so that will be how I'll be wearing them. A great bonus is that I'll be able to wear brand new shoes without a worry of blisters or rubbing; also in the great pack of twelve, six were in beige and six in black and as my shoes have beige lining it is perfect and also just the right number as I used three in each shoe, leaving six black ones for anything else. I would certainly recommend these on soft comfort and padding alone and at such amazing value and speed of delivery you can't really go wrong with a bit of trial and error for whatever suits your own needs as there's nothing worse than uncomfortable feet when out and about! Quality items, too, being well made and packaged so nicely. 5*****

Affordable & Easy!
Not crazy expensive and worth the money since you get 12 pairs - definitely a lifesaver because I'm always getting blisters no matter what shoes I wear but the downside is that it can come off quite easily, however, I think that would depend on where one applies and how you put on the shoes. The adhesives aren't very strong, but it's enough to suffice for one wear so I would recommend buying adhesives such as super glue to form it into your shoe. It's definitely soft and comfy - very firm too and does give breathing space between your foot and shoe. Definitely would recommend if a shoe is half a size bigger because it will fill that gap (I normally wear a size 6 because there's not a lot of size 5.5. shoes). I wore these with my size 6 platform boots and I wear thick socks to try and fill the gap but I found that the way I slip my shoes on makes the insoles stick to my socks, which then ends up tearing the insoles apart so like I said, may want to think about sticking the insoles with stronger adhesives to the shoe and let it dry. The way I put on my boots is almost pushing down the insoles (which probably explains how it sticks to my foot). It probably won't come off if you loosened your shoe and wore normal/thin socks but I'm just impatient lol.

Best investment I have made
This product is great and I could definitely recommend it to anyone. Well, almost anyone. I used those heel grips in my combat boots. I got them and realised they were too big too late and I've already spent so much I couldn't just trash the shoes. I've spent too long saving up for them! I've tried a lot of things to stop blisters from appearing. First thing was a felt sole insert. However the problem with this was that my toes ended up with too little space in the cap of the shoe. Afterward I tried one of those leather heel grips that just go around your heel. Worst purchase ever. The sudden sharp ends of the stick on grip would dig into my heels creating a giant blister anyways. The amount of plasters I was going through was ridiculous. Every day I wanted to wear those shoes I'd have to put a big plaster over my heel and underneath my ankle. They were 60-something p, but you can imagine that all of that adds up when you use up 4 plasters of a 5-pack daily. I'd go through 4 packs a week. So I bought those a few days ago. Costed me twice as much as the leather ones, but, I have 4 pairs instead of 1. Yesterday was the first time I have wore those grips without any sort of plasters. And finally waking in my boots was a bliss. They don't have any sharp edges that could dig into your feet, they make the size of the shoe smaller by about half the size (in my case fron 5.5 to 5) and slightly raise your heel. Now this is important, yes, those grips will raise your heel. To me that was ideal as it prevented my ankles from getting hurt from the constant friction and leather digging straight into them, but left my toes with enough space at the cap. This won't be ideal for everyone. They are comfortable but they do get worked in pretty fast at the bottom of your heel. They however still provide some cushioning, but to me it doesn't matter too much since that's not why I bought them. Applying them to the boots was a challenge but I realised that after walking in them, the bottom part has shifted into the correct position and stayed there. The disadvantage to those, specifically in boots, is that they roll down when you put your foot in the shoe. However I'm sure it's nothing a shoehorn can't fix. Other than that, I can definitely recommend those to everyone who doesn't mind the raised heel. They have definitely saved me a lot of money.

Comfy but don't help with slipping issues
I have a pair of wedge heels which slip off at the back and thought these might help, but if anything they make the slipping worse. I think they may perform better in shoes with slightly taller edges so you can fit your heel under the grip, as another commenter said. At present my heel is on the grip and just slides off due to the smooth fabric. They're very soft though, so I'm sure they'll help prevent blisters. Just wouldn't recommend these if your issue is that you have low-sided shoes that slip.

Finally some heel grips that work.
I have used heel grips before from a different brand that they were thin and kept peeling off so I was a bit skeptical when I ordered these. Nevertheless, my new hiking boots were about half a size too big and kept cutting badly into my heels, so I gave these a go based on the price/ review ratio. First of all, these are a really nice thickness and the cushioning is superb. Really nice and soft. They are easy to apply and actually stick to the shoe. I know some reviews mention that when you remove them they can leave a mark on the shoe, but I guess this will depend on the lining of your shoes. My boots have a breathable mesh lining that was not damaged when I eventually removed the grip, which I did to replace it because I had to wash the shoes. Glue residue might be possible, but again there are ways of removing this and I'd rather risk this than have a heel grip that slips off. I had a wound on my heel (cheers, boots!) And with a bit of gauze padding, a hydrocolloid patch and these grips I couldn't feel it at all- also no more bleeding and it finally healed. I found these grips to be excellent value, they do the job and I would definitely recommend them.

Soft, comfortable way to reduce the size of a shoe or boot
These silicone inserts are what I've been looking for most of my life. It's rare for my long bony feet to fit into shoes or boots perfectly - adjustments always have to be made - either by stretching or padding. It doesn't help that shoe companies don't have the same sizing method - even when they give you a size guide in centimetres. On-line shopping for shoes can be quite annoying. But now that I know I can get these little gems, I'm not looking at shoes in my wardrobe that don't quite fit. This pack contains 8 heel grips - so four pairs of shoes/boots. They're soft to hold. The directions are simple - insert them into the shoe, check the positioning - which I did by walking around and making sure they were centred - when I took off the shoe, holding onto the insert with my thumb, I marked where the top of the insert was (with chalk) and then and only then did I remove the backing and adhere them to the shoe. I then promptly put the shoe back on, and checked the positioning again. The first adhesion is always the best one, but these can be repositioned. Then I wear the shoe for a while, I usually do this with any adhering heel grip, the heat from my foot will help the adhesive adhere and stay in place far longer than just leaving the shoe cold. The I leave the shoe alone for at least a day. It's a wee trick I picked up years ago. These Ballotte heel grips keep their bounce, don't cause rubbing or blistering and give the bottom of the heel something soft to press down on - so are very comfortable. They're substantial enough that they will not do the dreaded rolling in on themselves. At a guess I would say they reduce the size of the shoe by just under a half size and because they're soft the shoe doesn't look like it's about to fall off, no large gaps at the back of the shoe. I am purchasing another pack and will go through my shoe collection and do the same to them - suddenly I have a lot more wearable shoes/boots. I am also going to purchase their Ball of Foot protectors in the same gel. All in all, I'm very happy with these heel grips, they do exactly what they say they'll do.

Not exactly gripping the heel and misleading
Received delivery super quick, pack of 12 (made up of 6 pairs) cushioned heel "grips". Firstly, there was no shoe wipe, as mentioned in description. Stuck grips to two pairs of problematic court shoes, which constantly slip on the heel. Left over night, the recommendation is minimum of 2 hrs. 24 hours later . . . Good adhesion to shoe. Then tried on shoes, but unfortunately they were just as slippy. The problem, is that the outer coating is made of a smooth nylon type of fabric, so no resistance. The second issue, is there is too much cushioning, so the heel of your foot does not sit under the grip, and since these are court shoes, they can not be stuck any higher in the shoe. Out comes the penknife, I cut away the lower parts of the grip (worried the gel would spill out) and guess what. . . The inside was foam! The good news however, after hacking away, the heel of my foot does now sit under the grip and has stopped shoe from slipping. But half the product is now ready for the bin.l All in all, if you want cushioning for shoes too big or perhaps sore on the heel, these will suffice. If it is specifically a heel grip you want then these are not the best, perhaps look at the Scholl range. Disappointed by misleading advert regarding shoe wipe, and definately no gel in these as stated on listing.

Original idea for heel grip with protector and extra secure hold
My first impression was good, there was minimal packaging which helps the environment and always appeals to me. The bag the product was in was sealed but there were no directions as to how to open it. Once I had worked out how to get into it I was pleased that it was resealable to ensure the ones you are. It using are kept clean and dust free. On the plus side there was a warning about the danger of the plastic used to cover the grips being dangerous and I was pleased to see this as it would not necessarily have occurred to me of this danger. I was disappointed not to see anywhere on the outside what exactly the product was, except for a tiny line of print on the reverse under the barcode. The product looked quite average especially considering its price point. My favourite feature of the product is not only that the heel grip area secures the heel, but the T part goes under the foot further preventing the movement of the grip which can be a problem with conventional heel grips. I also like the fact that it comes in different materials and colours which will help it to blend in with whatever footwear it’s used in. The sticky film part is out of alignment on EVERY grip meaning that when you take them out of the bag they stick to everything and quickly pick up dust and fluff. I would also prefer it to include instructions on use, I have never seen heel grips in this shape and wasn’t entirely sure exactly how to place them which took some trial and error and caused the eventual grips to be less than useful due to the fact they were not very sticky where I had needed to remove and replace them. It would be helpful to know if it is possible to cut them to size or not or if indeed they come in an alternative size. The product is an original idea and is good in theory, I think with some minor improvements such as better alignment of plastic and inclusion of instructions I would give this 5 stars instead of 4.

Good product
I am very happy with the product. The heel grips reduced the size of my shoes, so it is very comfortable to walk with them because the shoes don't come out. You have to be a little bit careful when putting them into the shoes, cause they stick easily. One of the grips kept moving and did not stick correctly. So, maybe I got a defectous grip, because the other ones worked perfectly.
