Beautiful little instrument. Received in perfect packaging. The device has nice features for its price. The UI is not that great and for some use cases, it is a limiting factor. The sound output is mono, which I wasn't expecting for a keyboard in this price range. The key action is okay. The keyboard is light and offers usb midi and 3.5mm connectivity. It can take 4 rechargeable Ni-Cd cells, but you need to set the type in the UI. I have heard that it could be powered using the USB connection alone, though haven't tested it.

Size is good, sound quality fantastic, functionality good, power cable working fine, value for money, portableness, good for beginners. Thank you very much both Yamaha and Amazon.

Product Amazing but too delay for delivery

Purchased it from Chennai Musicals with 3yrs warranty, The PSS-A50 has limited number of sounds with two drum kits, but these are all high quality sounds, The Arpeggio is just amazing, it can be combined with any voice or drum kit instruments to create endless combinations, enabling sustain with Arpeggio's is something great again, it just changes the Arpeggio sounds completely which is another functionality(Arpeggio+Sustain), Portamento is another added feature, it works really great with drawbar, wind and string kind of instruments Touch sensitivity of the keys is just unbelievable for this price range, their is no clicky noise while playing the keyboard how hard or fast we hit the keys, neither the keys are slippery, Motion effects is another added functionality which can jam the sessions, its something that is just beyond the imagination, I have a 61 Keys Keyboard which is not that handy in terms of portability(not easy to place it anywhere and start playing) and my 25 keys midi controllers feels short of keys as well as it needs to be connected to a computer or midi module(sound generator) to generate music, PSS-A50 fills up the gap in between, their is no need to switch on the computer nor connect the PSS to any external device to generate music, just pick it and start playing, The phrase recorder though single but still serves the purpose, - Record the drum and base patterns simultaneously and start playing it - Next, play the desired chords with Arpeggio hold (volume level can be adjusted indirectly by using the touch sensitivity functionality, press the keys lightly and chords will play with low volume, press the keys harder the chords will play with higher volume) - Play the notes, that's it In this way 4 different instruments can be played simultaneously with high quality sounds, thats enough to create music jams and jamming it more with the combination of sustain and motion effects, Moreover we can change the volume of phrase to suit with the chords and notes, Their is no functionality to change the volume of whatever is being played by Arpeggio hold however that too can be managed with the touch sensitivity of the keys(its described above) Midi functionality of PSS-A50 is great but limited, it is capable of switching channels as well as send and receive program & control change messages The metronome is another great functionality and very helpful in recording phrases, Tempo control obviously is a must feature, but this keyboard also has tap tempo functionality, - Their should have been a small encoder/dialer that would be more helpful in tone selection, changing arpeggio's, tempo settings, etc, as well as their should have been atleast two knobs for tweaking the sounds, Moreover their should have been a back button that would be helpful in re-calling the last tone or last arpeggio that was used, Its more of a fun with endless combinations possible with PSS-A50,
