I'll be honest, this is the first collagen-focused brand I've ever tried (compared to a protein powder that includes collagen in it), as I was pretty particular about what kind I got. I wanted to avoid artificial sweeteners, fillers, dyes, and any other things that could give me unpleasant side effects (as I already, unfortunately, get a good bit of them from other parts of my diet, like my pre-workout). That being said: I really like this collagen powder. It's a consistently good product (I was ordering the smaller tubs for a while, but I've since gone ahead and bought the two pound containers) in taste, smell, and texture. It blends well in everything I've used it in. HOWEVER, that being said, I NEED you to keep in mind that this is a no-BS collagen powder. It's not drowning in flavors or sweeteners, so you will get the full experience here. I STRONGLY recommend blending it with something that has a strong flavor profile. Drinking it in something mild will make you regret your life choices (unless you like a meaty/fishy taste, I guess?). I've mixed it with pre-workout, protein shakes, and juices. I will say that the flavor of the juice will matter, as lighter juices (like, say, apple juice) do not mask the flavor of the collagen powder as well as something more intensely flavored will. You should definitely experiment and see what it works best with for you, since your pallet will be different from mine. In my protein shakes and pre-workout drinks, it's barely noticeable (there's a very mild aftertaste, but it's not like it'll assault your senses or anything). I've added this to one food item and I've had no issues thus far, and that's yogurt bowls. I'll do Greek yogurt, the collagen powder, and whatever toppings I like, and I've had no issues with it so far. I've also added protein powder to the same yogurt bowls and that flavor overwhelms it completely. I've had no issues with digestive upset or any issues with the consistency. I haven't mixed it with hot items before, so I don't know how it would taste in something like coffee. For the benefits: I've been using collagen powder since 2022 (and inconsistently, since I try to mix it with something either pre- or post-workout, and I don't use those on a daily basis) for my skin and nails specifically. My nails used to be super brittle and would break/crack/split/bend easily, but I've noticed a difference in their quality over time. They're stronger, thicker, and healthier than they've ever been; they can actually bend/flex and they won't crack/split/tear, and it has resistance behind the bend. This could also partially be due to my diet, environment, and/or genetics, but I think the collagen helped make a HUGE difference in that. I don't have the aforementioned issues anymore, so I'm super happy about that. As for my skin, I don't know how to describe it, but it feels/looks healthier and plump. I use the powder and moisturizers/sunscreen and things like that as well, so it's not JUST due to the collagen, but I feel that working it into my regimen has helped it out. My nails are the biggest benefit. Again, I've been using this collagen powder since 2022, and as long as their quality/processes/ingredients don't make a drastic change, I'm sticking with them. I love this stuff. All of that being said: if you're not sure if you're going to like it, order the smaller container first and give it a try. Just remember to have good stuff to blend it into. :)

I've been trying collagen brands and types for a couple of years now, and unless they raise the price or lower the quality, I've settled on this one. I am now a believer in using the multi-type collagen rather than just two types, which this product offers. It is totally flavorless in my coffee, herbal tea, yogurt, and smoothies, and I have sensory processing issues so that says a lot! After using this for two months straight with no lapse, my fibromyalgia and other pain has eased up more than I imagined considering I have not made any other changes. I know my hair can't be thicker, but it appears like it, and feels stronger and healthier overall. My skin does seem to be aging even better than it was amd is never dry anymore. I haven't needed to spend as much money on probiotic supplements to prevent yeast infections other imbalances, and my nails are so strong now that it's almost annoying. The protein in my coffee keeps me fuller longer in the mornings, as with any collagen. The price is unbeatable, and I was afraid to go without the hyaluronic acid at first but have found it to be unnecessary after a couple of months on this product! So I'm happy to save the money and put less ingredients into my body. I also like that it doesn't have tons of unnecessary, possibly even toxic levels of biotin like other brands add in as a sellling point that can actually make you sick. Highly recommended!

First off before this I was a HUGE advocate for whey protein. But the bloat and acid reflux it caused. I had to make a change. Im into bodybuilding and powerlifting. I’m a 200 male getting ready to ship off to army basic combat training starting 1/12/21. I’ve completely replaced my whey protein with this. Whey protein causes inflammation and digestion issues. I really do see collagen peptides and proteins replacing ALL milk derived proteins. I’ve noticed this is easier on my stomach. It actually helps guy health! I’ve noticed my recovery time has gotten better. I run 3 miles every other day. And on my non running days I do strength training. I have noticed the beating my knees, ankles, and feet take from running so much has actually stopped after just a week of taking this. My skin looks better and my nails are growing faster as well. This stuff is legit. Best overall bang for your buck. It’s best to mix it with something like a smoothie. Vanilla or chocolate almond milk would also work. I even mix it with my sweet tea! Something with good flavor. Good for guys and gals who workout looking to replace their whey. Would be good for women looking for an all in one beauty/ protein product. (And if you’re worried about the amino profile of whey vs collagen peptide proteins.... just eat more food. Whey protein was ALWAYS supposed to be a supplement not a replacement. And if you were trying to replace food with a supplement, chances are you were never going to achieve the results you wanted in the first place.)

I just started using this product and cannot speak to its effectiveness. However, I noticed that it does have an unpleasant smell when I drink it. It is a bit better when mixed with something like aromatic tea. There seems to be no taste, thankfully. However, i used a different brand powder before and it had no taste and no smell. I like that a lot more. However, this powder claims to have more collagen types. this is why I ordered it. It dissolves a bit worse than the one I am used to. Also, there is no measuring spoon. Finally, the jar is hard to open/close if you have small hands like I do. it is too wide.

Flavor & clump review - I have only used this 3x so not reviewing on benefits for body I am really happy with this product. I liked what it had for the price. I have been adding 2 scoops to my morning matcha latte. It does change the taste ever so slightly, but not enough for it to bother me or to stop drinking it. I honestly think after a week I won’t even notice it! I follow the instructions and mix it in warm water - since I am making matcha I mix it in at a water temp of 170f. I use an electric hand mixer/whisk that is battery operated. I also purchased on Amazon. Comes out perfect with no clumping. Has a funny smell before I add in my vanilla almond milk, but it doesn’t bother me as I don’t smell it when I drink. Match Latte w/ collagen: 1/2 tsp matcha sifted Spoonful of local honey (for allergies and because honey is the best) 2 scoops collagen 2.5 fl oz of 170F water Whisk Then add: 8 oz vanilla almond milk Ice In a glass (because everything tastes best in glass) It’s my favorite drink - great health benefits - good protein - steady energy -— So update. Went through my first bottle and now on second - this stuff is great. I have so much new hair growth it’s crazy. I’ve used just in warm water, coffee and matcha latte now. All taste great.

Doesn't dissolve that easily and there is a funny smell. I am giving it a try so I will surely update the comments regarding the efficiency at a later stage.

I bought it because of more types of collagens than most. The product seems OK, no major difference from other brands I used. But the container is not OK.The lid is almost 5" in diameter, too big to grab well unless you have huge hands. It has to go into the groove just right, otherwise it jams and you can not turn it close or open. Frustrating to deal with so I transfered the content into a more user-friendly jar and do not plan to buy this again.
