Excellent camera for capturing night time animal movement. We were able to detect a raccoon family under our house with the camera (as our crawl space is limited). Quality is very good, I can capture about 120 20 second (and other combinations of time) videos on one SD card and transfer to my computer for larger viewing. I use 8 regular AA batteries and they last for about 5 nights. There are numerous filming options , set up is easy and the results are excellent!

The media could not be loaded. Trail cam with many easy setup options. Included in the secure packaging is the Trail cam, mounting strap, bracket and screws for secure mounting, and a USB cable to connect to a computer for downloading images. It has more setup options than older units I've had and the setup is very easy using the menus on the 2" LCD. Takes either 4 or 8 AA batteries. Can't speak yet to its longevity; will update this if there are problems after a few months use. I will be using the combined still/video option- 2 still photos followed immediately by a short video. A wide range of options for the still image resolution and video formats and lengths. The night video here was taken with the protective films still on the lenses (dumb of me). The subjects are about 20 feet from the camera and the contrast is washed out by reflection off the ground in front of the camera. But given all that, not bad. I'll update with some better images.

From opening the box this camera was a real surprise - although the setup manual looks long it is detailed and easy to work through. More detail is better than less. The camera also featured recording of ambient temperature and moon phase for each recording - which is a real bonus. The water-resistant build of the camera is robust, the fitting hardware provided allows for a number of setup options. Choice of image resolution and video length is intuitive and easy to set up. I would certainly recommend this product for a range of environmental monitoring, semi-professional and hobby applications. Very impressive product!

Because the battery tray won't latch, the unit will not stay powered up. Poor design.Replacement unit latches properly. Updating rating. Daytime images are very good--night are pretty fuzzy. May need to play with settings more to get clear nighttime images.

The media could not be loaded. My husband and son like hunting out back in our woods. I purchased this one after having a purchased a different camera just last month. Instructions were very thorough and camera was easy to set up. Liked the fact that you can set a security code. Not worried about having it outback of our place; but, we may get another one for a separate property and it will be nice to leave it there. Couldn't believe how many more options this camera offers. It captured consecutive photos as deer walked through. It seems to be very sensitive as far as the motion sensor. After having it outside for one day, it captured 33 images/videos. The pictures were very clear. Records the outside temperature (didn't realize it did that until viewing the photos). The one thing that I don't like is the hinge seems a little bit flimsy. You want to be very careful opening/closing the case. All in all, I think I got the right camera.

Right out of the box, it looks like a quality product, built to survive the harsh elements. The picture, video, night vision quality was excellent for the 14 hours that it worked. I gave it 1 star overall because, when I put the batteries and sd in for the first time and turned it on, the LCD screen said, "usogood", on a black screen and the unit just clicked. I ejected the battery box several times to check polarity and voltage with multimeter. I finally got the unit in setup mode by accident, sliding the on/off button up and down. I did setup and slide button to on. It stayed on and I mounted to a tree overnight. We got the good pic, vids that night and I turned the unit off to remove sd card. I have not been able to get the camera to come back on since. All I get is, "usogood" and a rhythmic ticking.My wife threw away the box and paperwork, (OCD kicked in), almost right away so, it wouldnt be fair to return it naked.Tried to contact seller, move on to another seller and buy from this one.

I didn't want to spend a fortune on a first camera, but the reviews on Amazon showed this to be a good, reliable unit. Since I received it, it has done nothing but exceed my expectations! I tested it out in my backyard - very easy to set up, directions were clear and well-written, easy to follow. The shots of deer about to eat the hosta were great!! Night vision was clear! This camera is well worth it! IU am very happy
