fit my 1997 hydromatic 4L80E
it was identical to the one i pulled out of my 4L80E and it seems like a good brand. took me like 2 minutes to replace once i got the pan off.

Good gasket, NOT CORK JUNK
If youre like me whatever bad stuff can happen will. I had a cork gasket come apart inside the transmission one time. Never leaked a drop but filled the filter up with cork material and cooked the transmission. Never again. Get one of these. No rtv needed. No leaks. Just a good gasket and filter that does the job!

Wrong Gasket!
The filter worked fine however the gasket is not even close to being the right one. I read other reviews before I purchase this so I was prepared. I picked up a gasket before doing this job.

would buy again filter matches OE part , gasket ist also the same .

Transmission pan gasket is thinner than OE.. but it works fine. Clean the pan bolts!
Wire brush the pan bolts until the threads are free of dirt and corrosion. If you don't, the transmission pan will leak. Simply because the bolts won't be able to thread into the transmission housing properly if they are all chowdered up. The pan gasket is thinner than OE, so the bolts must be clean in order for them to thread in a little deeper.
