They’re hot
I make hot sauce out of these, I typically buy them from a local seller but decided I’d try and find some online. I’ve only compared them to 2 other brands, but the smell was really nice and strong, they didn’t smell old or stale. They crumbled very nicely, and the sauce came out pretty hot. Hotter than the other 2 brands I’ve used but these did come with a very minor bitter aftertaste. It did not linger long though. Overall the flavor, smell, and heat level were good. Can’t go wrong with them.

Very Spicy and Yummy
These are truly the best peppers you'll ever come across! They offer excellent value as well. I grind these peppers and blend them with a mild hot sauce, creating a perfect addition to any dish. If you're not a fan of spiciness, be cautious as these are seriously hot. I strongly advise handling them outdoors and wearing gloves

Horrific birthday gift.
I bought this as a birthday gift for an old friend of mine we have known each other for many years and i have known of his obsession with trying spicy foods and challenges for a while as i also enjoy trying spicy foods occasionally and i think i can handle a good amount of spicy foods but this. This was much more than I thought I could handle. Me being the cocky bastard i am thought I could try these spicy peppers and have no problem so I called my friend and asked him to meet me somewhere so I could give him his gift. He told me he was going on a date with his girlfriend that day so he couldn’t stay long. We met with no preparation for what would happen next. We decided in the moment he saw these peppers that we would give them at try (being the dumb friends we are) both took a pepper from the bottle and chewed and swallowed the peppers. Thinking it wasn’t that bad we both laughed at how these peppers had no effect on us. Then it hit we both took off sprinting to his car. I looked at him and saw pure terror his eyes watering and snot pouring down his face. I laughed thinking i was the superior one as it hit me I dropped to the ground as my stomach felt like it had its own Pearl Harbor. He rushed back to his car remembering he had some water inside. He chugged some water and dropped again as he then decided that his best plan of action was to grab handfuls of grass and stuff his mouth chewing it hoping it would stop the pain And me chugging the water I found in his backseat. I am on my knees when i hear the sound of him forcing himself to puke. After several minutes I hear him moaning in pain “i hate you” I laugh in pain and say happy birthday. We both get to our feet and walk to his car after about an hour of this pain I decide to call my sister and told her I would pay her to bring something to drink and some crackers. After about 45 minutes of waiting she shows up with what I asked for. Two hours of pain! And our stomachs begin to settle as he leaves for his date i also just got home and the pain hit again. I’m not sure how his date is going but happy birthday and good luck.

Bought for squirrel combat
So, we live on a lake and have water on our property. We like songbirds and do our best to feed them with bird feeders but the rats and squirrels are just relentless at raiding the bird feeders for bird seed. We bought these super hot dried peppers for the purpose of discouraging mammals from raiding the bird seed. These peppers have one of the highest capsaicin (heat chemical in peppers) levels of any pepper so we chopped up a few of them with gloves on and added them to a mason jar of olive oil. Capsaicin is oil soluble so it was just a matter of time before the heat got into the oil to make hot pepper oil. Now, when we mix up some bird seed for the feeders, we add a good teaspoon of hot pepper oil and mix the seeds and oil up in a gallon zip lock bag. We also add a little powdered cayenne pepper to the mix to evenly coat the seeds. Birds are not affected by capsaicin at all. Peppers depend on birds to spread their pepper seeds far and wide. It's only mammals that are affected by hot peppers. So, when a squirrel or a rat tries to eat the hot pepper coated seeds, they get a few bites in and then regret the decision and scamper away, looking for water. It only takes a time or two of feeding on hot pepper oil seeds to dissuade them from returning to the feeder. It does not otherwise harm the varmints in any way. Long live hot peppers.

Carolina reaper?
I love how you can rehydrate these with hot water! I use boiling hot water for 20 minutes after it’s been poured into a cup. Works great.

Low quality, Decent Product
I've had a few Carolina Reapers over the years, and I most certainly would state that this is by far the lowest quality one I've ever had, though that isn't necessarily a terrible thing. Its a decent bang for the buck. It is spicy and gets its point across. If anything, it might be a better idea to get this than an actual high quality Carolina Reaper, as this was more tolerable.I found that the overall effect, the spiciness, the main reason I had for buying this, was much lower than others that I have had, both in potency, and in length of effect. I found this was over fairly shortly compared to my other experiences, and the severity, while high, was comparable more to a ghost pepper or lower. The taste was absolutely horrendous. You don't buy this kind of pepper for taste, but this was definitely the worst of the Carolina Reapers I've had. The very taste itself left me with a nausea, which is a little disappointing.Overall, I'd say it makes a decent gag gift, but I would personally look to other brands for my own gifting or challenge purposes. While the other ones might be spicier, they are the actual challenge. I found that this one, while being less severe, had a more severe aftereffect - it turned my pee spicy. I didn't taste it, so you can figure out how I figured out it burnt.
