Will the 7" santoku fit in a 2" slot in a knife block? How wide is the blade?

My Zwilling/Henckels Santoku knife blade is 7" long and 1-5/8" wide at the widest part near the handle. It should fit easily into a 2" slot.

How does this compare with the 5.5 inch santoku? Anyone have experience with both?

I own both the 7" and the 5.5". The 5.5" is a little small for me and my knuckles hit the cutting board if I am using it to chop. My wife who has smaller hands uses it a lot and is comfortable for her. I find the 7" is a good replacement for a 8" chefs knife if you feel the 8" chefs knife is a little too big for you.

I bought the 7" 31119-180 knife. Now I have a knotch out of the blade. Is this knife replaceable?
