Does the job. Nice soft-touch plastic, buttons feel good, keeps time well and the crescendo alarm is perfect for making you shoot out of bed. Light is a good brightness and the button feels nice and premium. Glow on the hands could be a bit brighter but it's still visible in a pitch black room. Small enough to chuck in your bag when going travelling too.

Excellent alarm clock, the simple and timeless design are great and will fit every decor. The alarm function is simple to operate and the snooze button practical. You can hear the clock ticking either which is a great bonus. At night the display is very discreet yet performs very well allowing you to see the time. The size and weight make it also perfect if you travel. Highly recommended

Was surprised at how well put together this little clock is. I thought that given the price it would feel cheap and tacky. Not at all! It bought as when we go away we use, like most people these days I think, our phones. But they just seem to wake you up with a start. This clock starts of with a mild tone, then increases the volume and urgency, which is nice. I also like the size and the fact that it has an easy to use snooze button. The dial is easy to read and the light isn't too bright. I've marked it down a star as the hands could be slightly brighter. Even in a room with no light it's very difficult to see the hands, so you have to use the built-in light. Overall, its a great little travel companion.

Fairly small and compact. Doesn’t require special batteries - uses a single AA cell. Really good alarm - starts of considerately quiet and then increases in volume. Little light activated by button to help with viewing at night. Possibility that could be activated at when stuffed in a bag for travelling so might potentially flatten battery. The dials for changing time and alarm time are recessed to help prevent accidental changes when travelling. But found the dial for changing the time fiddly. Not easy to change the time. Overall happy with purchase. Replaced a very old Casio travel alarm that had stopped working but definitely feels like a step up in quality.

This is such a simple clock with so few functions, that it shouldn't really be possible to get things wrong. Howefer after 6 months or so of use, with no accidents or damage, mine started occasionally and unpredictably ringing at low volume, regardless of battery freshness, and sometimes not ringing at all - even when definitely set and with a fresh battery. Maybe I have an unusual faulty unit - I have owned Braun clocks in the past, and had no issues - but it's still disappointing that such a basic products can fail in its very basic functions.

I have used Braun alarm clocks for years but this latest version is so disappointing. Its small and compact and should not go off in your suitcase BUT it is impossible to set the correct time. The dials are inlaid and stiff and you cannot move them without using a sharp knife. Even then the movement is jerky and you end up moving the minute hand 20 minutes or more back instead of 2, 3 or whatever you need. The same with the alarm dial, I just gave up in the end and left it 5 minutes fast. The thought of having to go through all this rigmorole when the clocks change or I travel abroad is not worth thinking about. I would have returned it had the box not been thrown away. Just not fit for purpose and consigned to the spare room.

Love it just a small useful quiet clock for holiday travel as well as home use, no annoying ticking, so easy to see the clock face. Great little product for a good price. Very light but robust and easy to set up.

It's small (two and a quarter inches square) and beautiful. However, it doesn't keep time as well as a Casio, and, it's extremely difficult to turn the knurled button on the back to get the hands set accurately. Even spraying a bit of lube didn't help.
