I use 1cm grid to make patterns for small sewing goods.I thought the pages would be detachable but they are permanent. The book has very sturdy binding.I remove the pages with a sharp blade. The 1 cm grid lines are rather faint.If I had a printer I would print grid papers as needed. This book is an excellent alternative.I use the front part of the book to make designs and remove pages from the back of the book to make flat patterns.That's just me. This is an excellent general purpose book for notes, math, anything where 1cm grids are useful.

This is a graph paper book, it is not looseleaf graph paper. There are no serrations to make removal of a page easy, and no margin for error. Be sure that what you want is a soft-bound book full of nonremovable graph paper and this might be a fine choice.
