Good flavor and the orange garnish pieces are nice. Its mostly juice. Gotta be as expensive as shipping bottled water from . . . China?

The corn syrup used in this product tastes like slightly sweetened water. The mandarins taste like filled edible water bottles, completely bland but fresh.

Dole Mandarin Oranges are very good

I just love, love, love these! Super good. BUT the price jumps around on them a whole lot. They have ranged from $1.00/can to over $3.00/can just within the past month! Be aware that Amazon Prime Pantry does NOT do a good job of packing these and other canned goods within the big box. I ordered 10 cans of these (the price was really good at the time) along with several other canned items. When I opened the box, the cans were loose inside the box - allowing cans to move and bang up against other cans. This resulted in dented cans of the Mandarin Oranges, I think because these cans are not has thick as some of the other cans. I have twice written to Amazon about the lack of appropriate packing for canned goods and even sent photos of the dented cans to them. I've had no response from them either time - which is disappointing. Anyway, these are extremely good Mandarin Orange slices and the juice is also very good - not overly sweetened, but just right.

I love mandarins and can’t tell you how these taste room temperature but are so good refrigerated. I have to monitor myself because I’ll finish the whole thing in one sitting. This may sound gross but sometimes I even drink the liquid afterward.
