I used Audacity to tweak things, and I can recommend this unit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not meant for recording singing *by D***S on October 12, 2016* I bought this with the intentions of recording music vocals. I've been testing it out and have learned that it really isn't the best for that type of recording. The microphone doesn't seem to adjust to the volumes of your voice. When I would sing loudly, the audio would playback as crackly. Even when I would be farther away, the same thing would happen and would just ultimately create unusable recordings. When I would sing normally, as in talking level, the sound would be great. I would say that this would be a great microphone if your intentions are for speaking only. It has a beautiful sound with that level of noise. ### ⭐⭐ Disappointed *by A***R on May 7, 2016* The headphones are great, but the microphone would never work with my laptop. I tried contacting the maker to get help, but they never answered the phone.
