Wonderful product (but offensive to hobbits).
To be honest I originally bought this to try and summon Tiamat and possibly Gozer the Traveler. It didn't work, but in fairness to the product it didn't claim to. So now I use it to burn incense. It's solid and seems well crafted. The detail is pretty awesome. And of course, when the incense smoke wafts from it's nostrils it's wicked looking. Side note, while trying to impress a hobbit friend of mine they were terribly offended saying it resembled Smaug. Apparently I was being "insensitive" about traumatic events in hobbit history. So please keep this in mind. I was terribly embarrassed.

Everyday Use
I burn incense about 2 times a day and almost every other day! I was searching for an incense burner for a long time and couldn't find something that stands out. I came across this and it is awesome. Many people say you can't see the smoke coming out the dragons nose or it outs itself. I just break the bottom of the incense stick in half and it works fine all the time. I love it! It's a great display piece.

If I could give 10-Stars, I would. Very PLEASED
This burner is much LARGER than I anticipated (but that’s a positive). This burner arrived undamaged in NEW factory-box, well-packed in an amazon shipping box.So far, had it less than 24-hours, only burned 2-sticks thus far... had to “trim” the butt-end of these sticks to make them short enough to burn without touching the insides or burning out... there seems to be enough airflow, no problem whatsoever... both sticks burned completely without need of “modding” the Burner itself as other reviews had stated (I exclusively burn sai-baba nag champa sticks). So far, so good. IS NOT any major “inconvienience” to “trim” these sticks prior to lighting them and these sticks burned 100% without going-out as other reviews also stated... going forward I shall see but I doubt I’ll need to “mod” this burner unless I switch brands of incense down the road. AND THIS BURNER just looks “too cool 😎 for school”. Unquestioningly my favorite burner I’ve ever had and very unique unlike any Standard wooden burner I’ve ever had (I’ve even geeked-out and named this piece “Smaug”) a NERDY “LOTR/Hobbit” reference, I know. I just love this piece. I beleive is made of a plastic/resin molded material, is “heavy” piece for what is made of, but lighter than one might expect based on Stock Photos not knowing the Material until item’s arrival. All in all very pleased with this, it is exquiste in Detail, far and away this piece outshines any other Standard wooden Burner I’ve seen. Without need to “mod” straight out of the Box works perfectly with a slight “shortening” of each Stick prior to lighting them. Upon initial purchase, sight unseen, I thought the price a bit high, that is, until it actually arrived and I saw firsthand the DETAIL and FUNCTIONALITY. I LOVE THIS BURNER!! I highly recommend, to anyone considering the cost... go ahead, take the plunge. You’ll NOT be disappointed :-)

Lovely incense holder
Normally I don't quite go in for the full-fantasy look, but my husband saw this and was so excited about having a dragon incense burner, I agreed to give it a go. I was surprised at the quality and the aesthetic - it's obviously fantasy but it also doesn't look super out of place with our subtler decor. The only reason I can't give it a 5 is because the hole that holds the stick upright is a little big/shallow and unless we rig it just right, the stick will topple over inside the dragon's snout and go out. I typically break a piece off of the stick's base and use it as a wedge to keep it steady and haven't really had any problems with it.

Beautiful dragon
I love this incense holder. Actually, it has such amazing detail that I think of it more as a sculpture than an incense holder. Though it does do a great job as an incense holder. I've burned cone incense in it and it's really cool how the smoke curls out of the nostrils of the dragon. And the dragon's eyes are pretty amazing too. They're red glass but they seem to glow. I don't know what kind of glass they used but it's a great effect.

Amazing
This was a gift to me and when my girl have it to me I was very excited! It is very well done and it's hard to stop using it to see the smoke coming out from the nostrils. It would be amazing that the eyes have let's, can you imagine that red eyes and the smoke mixed with the red ligth?... thnx

This piece looks amazing, but does not perform as well as intended
I have to say, this is one of the coolest devices/pieces of art I've ever invested in. Ever.Upon lighting the incense stick, it is slow, and will not impress you for the first minute or two. Then, after about 5 minutes, you'll notice a trail of smoke across the room. It's slow and steady. If you have a dead-air room with no ventilation, it will do exactly as I said. It's not something mesmerizing to look at, but the sole "cool" factor from having a smoke-breathing dragon breathe trails of smoke across adds quite a "wow-factor."Again, as my first and only piece of art, this is the most nonregrettable punt I've ever made. This was so worth it and I'd recommend it to anybody that is considering it. If anybody can send me in any other directions for absolute badass pieces like this, please let me know, because this has sparked a hobby without any doubt. For anybody wondering, the only two smoke holes are out of the nose, and it is well-designed this way. More holes, I would imagine, would not create such an effect.EDIT: Less than 2 weeks, there's a hole in the base on the inner side, and the dragon head is too short for the average incense stick, so you're required to either trim the stick a bit, or, just burn the incense for a bit before putting the head on. I changed my review from 5 stars to 3, because I was planning to have this for AT LEAST 6 months without any issues. I've also been very gentle with the head, and the head does not fit on firmly to the base and does have slight wiggle room. Be warned and be careful. This is a case where unfortunately, you get what you pay for. With that being said, I'm still satisfied with my bang-for-the-buck; however, again, I did not expect any issues less than 2 weeks from my purchase... It retains 3 stars because I can put incense cones in this piece and avoid the stick problem. The base does heat up though (not scolding hot, but hot enough to make you uncomfortable if you're holding the base), so I'm sure some sort of cone holder inside the piece would be an adequate solution. All in all, this piece is for looks, and not for performance.

Very nice.
Beautifully made. Do be careful with very tall incense sticks because they won't get enough oxygen in here. Most of my tall ones burn fine, you just have to be careful about the incense sticks with the very long bases. The dragon is beautifully made. You lift his head off of the base and there's a small raised platform in the center of the base with a small hole for the incense. You can put cones in there too if you wish (there's plenty of room). Some incense sticks are too fat for it but I just took a small knife and kind of carved the hole a bit larger.Do be careful that you don't get the base of an incense stick snapped off in the hole though because it might get stuck and prevent you from putting another stick in the hole.

Looks cool
Cheap plastic but looks cool. Works well if you brake the stick off slightly due to being a bit too long and likes to touch the inside and snuff out.
