VAG Issue
The plastic that’s around the finger holes make all the difference. Better grip and you can use more force but they are still thin and flimsy to fit the removal slots. That an VAG, Audi design team issue.

Pulled the stereo perfectly but very difficult to remove
I found that these pulled my b8 RS4 stereo perfectly but when trying to disconnect them they didn’t release when pressing the buttons on the side. I found the trick was to use a small flat bladed screwdriver and push quite hard at the bottom of the button whilst pulling the tool and then it came out ok

Easy to use, don’t bend like others available.
I have used several different brands/types of these keys in the past; most have been poor quality and uncomfortable to operate. This brand is comfortable thanks to the blue plastic grips, and the metal used for the key is sturdy enough not to bend during operation.

best remove tools
Guys the quality of these is fantastic! I have had a lot off sets in the past but none that beat these. Shame they don't make a full multi sey. As would buy straight away. No hesitation ( FANTASTIC )

Couldn’t Get Them Out
I bought these to remove the radio on my 2007 Audi TT. It’s a double height unit so all 4 keys were used. They slotted in ok, although did need to be pushed quite hard to get them to click and lock in place. So far, so good. The problem came when I tried to remove them. They wouldn’t shift. You should just be able to apply side pressure to the clips on the radio unit to release them, but that had no affect. I even got my local car audio specialists to take a look to see if I was doing something wrong, but still no luck. I did eventually get them out with a small screwdriver and brute force, but I’d be very nervous about using them again. Tbh I don’t know whether the problem is with the keys, or my head unit - either the slots are too deep on the keys, or there isn’t sufficient lateral movement on the head unit catches.

Finally some radio keys that dont snap!
These are a robust design and do the job well. The added plastic also saves your fingers!

Sure, they help you remove the unit you buy these for.. But good luck getting them out. It took me 30 minutes to wiggle these units out, barely preventing damage to the actual unit and the placement socket. Don't spend your money on these. Try to find the flat, single piece metal ones (yes, completely flat, including handle)
