A good product, strong colour red

It's OK.
Not really any better than my other gel red colour. Find it hard to get it a deep red in buttercream.

Great for red velvet cupcakes
The colour is great, especially for red velvet cupcakes. The only criticism I have is that it’s quite thick and gloopy so not the easiest to use.

Gel food colouring
I recently ordered two gel colours for a cake I was making for the Coronation one was royal blue and one was red. They arrived in good time so I put them away ready for the day I made the cake. Got them out and one was blue and one was burgundy, I was not impressed. Yes I should of checked when they came but you expect to get what you ordered.The blue was great and the red would of been if that’s what I’d got so that is why it got a 3 star rating, for the mistake

This is not red
This is not red, Wilton should please check the formulation of this colour, This is definitely not red. I used almost one tub to colour 1kg of fondant and it was still not red, it was giving me coral. My client was picking up their cake in a few hours and this really set me back. I had to get another brand to bring out the red colour. I was really stressed that night. I will not be buying this again

Great colour but had to use all of the pot.
Great deep red colour, perfect for a red velvet cake, had to use entire tin though as large cake, so quite expensive.
