I have used slick 8 for several years it allows me to cast further and is great line landing fish many times its strength.

I hope this review helps you in your shopping. I always appreciate it when people take time to write a sincere review. I had never used braided line before so I did not know what to expect. In fact, it had been awhile since I fished. But I am getting back into it and bought this for my spinning reels. I love it. It is supple and strong. It casts great. It has no memory (sort of like me). Unlike some, I did not start the spool with mono and put this on top. I filled the spool. When it begins to get a little frayed I cut off 10 yards or so. When the reel gets a little lower I will turn it around and use the other end for awhile. Then, I might use it again on a reel with mono on it. I am not saying that that is the best way, but it is what I did. What I can say is that I enjoy using this line more than any other I have used.

You cannot go wrong with Power Pro Braided line! It delivers on the promises. I use it for bass fishing, both largemouth and smallmouth bass. I love how it casts farther, and I can use smaller diameter (less poundage) and that results in longer casts! I've used Power Pro for years and never had a failure. I use the FG knot to attach Floro. leader and it ties easily. I've had little problem with color change, but I'm trying a new color to see if it works as well as the basic green. My choice is Power Pro, just shop for the best price!

This is a new color of Power Pro braid. I love that you can see the line when fishing to detect the slightest bite(s). This SuperSlick line casts like a dream and is super sensitive to bites. I use this SuperSlick line for Dropshot fishing for bass. I can cast it farther with lighter weights and then still feel every bite as well as the complexion of the bottom I'm fishing. This line may also work for casting small swimbaits where the extra distance and distant hooksets are important. The 20-pound line should develop less air knots than the 10-pound line I have previously used for dropshoting.

I have tried alot of braided lines and this is by far the best. Give it a try.
