So, I’ve been searching for a heavy duty long distance surf spinning reel and this one caught my attention as well as critics review on YouTube. I decided to purchase it to pair with my 12 footer Daiwa rod. I tested it out last night and damn! This made a difference in my overall casting. I mean, this reel truly can go far. The line retrieval was amazing, I can easily pick up all that line in a heartbeat without a struggle. The reel is also smooth and the handle was less stress I’m sure I can real a big game fish with this easy specially with the 40 lbs drag. I strongly recommend. I probably get another one soon to pair with my Okuma Longtitude Surf rod.

Fit for purpose. Works quite well pulling in heavy fish and sharks. Very smooth operation. Drag is perfect. Clicker is loud. Casting is perfect.i paired it with a 15’ Super Panther rod and use it for pier fishing. Caught my PB redfish, shark, as well as PB catfish so it has a lot of uses.

My go-to spinning reel in the Texas surf. Holds hundreds of yards of 50lb braid. Put reel on a 12ft surf rod and I can through it a mile. Reel has been dunked several times with nothing more than a fresh water rinse and still looks brand new!

Reel cast great, major draw back is the flex. Reeling in a rig with 6oz wait and it flexes and wobbles. I would recommend not to buy, look at Tusnami reels, much better quality.

Abused this reel and I cant say enough good things. It has held up perfect and it out performs most penns I have. Holds a lot of line and casts smooth. Drag is easy to work, nice adjustments, decent amount of drag to fight big fish. Reel size is perfect for an 8k. Overall im pretty happy with this reel.

Se moulinet est très bon pour le prix et contient beaucoup de fil et il est très puissant

Reel is good, spool is longer and helps with casting but I get similar distance on my 14000 size reel. The body does have some flex in it though. Recommend braid as I bought a 2nd spool and used mono but bread was way better. Use backing, dont waste your main line filling the spool. For R1600ish, its worth it tbh.
