Maisy's Fire Engine: A Maisy Shaped Board Book

This is a cute little book staring Maisy the mouse. In this book (there are lots of Maisy books), she and her friend help a cat stuck in a roof. The pictures are fantastic and the story is simple so that a very young child can follow along. And it's not boring for the parents to read aloud.UPDATE—at age 15 months, this book has become a favorite of my son. He loves to look at this book by himself and brings it over to me to read to him all the time.

My 2 year old loves all the Maisy books. They are excellent from my perspective also because the characters are not in stereotypical roles (hard to find in kids books!).

Considering there are not too many good fire engine themed children's books, this is not a bad book - though this book passes muster only because of that single factor. I gave it as a 2nd bday gift and the child and family loved it!Suitable for 1.5 - 3 yrs of age.

Maisy is a hero at my indoor playground, Pee Wee Bees. There was one child who brought this book to me to read every time he visited our store. Over 50 times, this tale of danger, heroism, and the kindness of a biped rat for a timid cat gave both of us the satisfaction of a truly happy ending.

My baby is 4 months old and loves the illustrations and colors. She even loves it at 3 months. Highly recommend the Maisy books for any baby as a "1st story book".

Nee-nah, nee-nah and a cat rescue - what more could you ask for from a fire fighter board book? I also love that Maisy and Cyril need to help rescue Little Black Cat after they accidentally spray and scare him - it was a good starter point to talk to my toddler about thinking about others.

Wonderful book with a powerful message

I bought this book for 4 yo my niece. she is getting started to learn English.

My little girl is just starting to discover Maisy books. She loves this one. We took this book out from the library and then I had to buy it because she likes it so much. We do baby signs and she always does the sign for scared (because the cat in the story gets scared and climbs onto a roof) when she wants to read this book. It's super cute.

Our 2 year old loves this book and has it memorized. Simple but teaches good language. Now she always says "well done" because of the book

Nee-naaがお気に入りのフレーズです。ボードブックは頑丈で、小さい子供がさわっても大丈夫です。3歳の娘は、とてもお気に入りで、読んでといつも持って来ます。3ヶ月の娘も色とりどりの絵本を見て、目で追ってニコニコして見てます。Maisy's Trainと合わせて買いました。こちらもお気に入りです。

固めの紙（段ボール紙？）の絵本です。コンパクトで形もかわいいので、出産祝いにリピートしています。
