CagesCubes - C&C DELUXE Cage (Base 2X4 + Loft 2x2 - White Panel) + White Coroplast Base for guinea pigs

We’ve had this cage for just over a month. It’s perfect for our two guinea pigs. They have loads of space to run around and they feel safe. I was worried about it not having a lid! But having had this fir a few weeks now it’s obvious that the Guinea pigs couldn’t get out. It’s so easy to clean, I just sweep it and wipe it clean, it’s really easy. We use litter trays and an absorbent mat which is washable. It makes the clean out a lot easier. It took a little while to assemble but it’s really sturdy once it’s up. Our 4yr old daughter sits in the cage with the guinea pigs - this is a big plus for us as she can be close to them without needing me sitting with her the whole time. Definitely comes recommended from us.

I found the link to this cage on a dedicated guinea piggles website and I think I got good advice. I have looked at other similar (and slightly cheaper) models for comparison, and can see some flaws in other products, specifically those with ramps. Our piggies didn't like the steeper, wooden ramp in the original wooden hutch we had bought, but the one in this cage is a good shallow slope and lined with carpet tile so they don't slip. After initial nerves, the piggies are very confident with it. Crucially it's safe from top to bottom - other cages seem to have gaps / low sides / ledges, which are pretty dangerous for guinea pigs, being flat surface creatures by nature. The top of this ramp is encased within the floor of the upper level - look carefully at other cages as this isn't always the case. It took two people about 45 minutes to construct. It's fiddly rather than difficult and would be just a bit awkward for one person alone. Everything we needed was included, but it might have been nice to get one or two spare connectors just in case. There were no instructions at all so we figured it out based solely on the photos on Amazon. They did supply plenty of cable ties, which we definitely used so we're confident it all stays together. We've only had the cage a week so I don't know about the durability of the Coroplast just yet. The wire frame parts seem very sturdy. The piggies are starting to nibble some of the edges of the Coroplast so I think we'll buy some sliders to cover those over. Sliders are only provided for the edges of the ramp. It’s a little tricky to get into the lower covered area to clean, but it’s manageable, especially if you’re using fleece which you can just slide out. Really pleased with the product. Not cheap but saved time on working out sizes, cutting Coroplast, buying individual fixings. Delighted to give our two piggies so much space to run about and have fun. Arrived within 1 week, slightly ahead of schedule. Well packaged.

This was a bit confusing to assemble at first i eventually managed to set it up and my guinea pigs seemed to absolutely love it

This cage arrived without instructions on how to assemble it in a safe manner. As a result when my 2 male my guinea pigs had a squabble one fell off the ramp onto the floor and broke his leg and as a consequence died. I would not recommend the cage for that reason.

I was unsure about this cage when I first opened the box as the internals of it seemed very temporary and flimsy. However once built it is sturdy and very roomy for my two piggies. They seem happy. The only gripe is there was no instructions in the box. I had to look at pictures in here to work out how it went together.

This product is easy to assemble however I soon removed the upper tier and extended the bottom part due to the ramp not being stable enough. One of my guineapigs fell off the ramp and injured his leg as it didn't seem to hold in place securely enough once assembled.

Good size cage for two Guinea pigs fitted together sturdy the only downside is no English instructions to follow for building but easy enough to work out.

Vallado de buena calidad, se monta fácilmente. Compré la jaula reacondicionada y le faltaban piezas para montarla, la tuve que devolver. Hasta donde pude montar tenía buena pinta. El precio algo caro para lo que es.

J'ai du prendre cette cage car nouveau membre au ajouté au gang Le montage est simple contrairement aux coms que j'ai vu fin c'est basique quoi même sans notice La cage est aux bonnes dimensions super grande J'ai apporté quelques modifs en coupant un peu la hauteur du coroplast (qui était trop haut a mon gout). Je n'ai pas mis le 2eme étage la ou il doit normalement être mais un peu plus bas (je trouvais la hauteur trop élevée) j'ai donc du attacher le tout avec des colliers de serrage et mettre un tube au rdc, au centre du 2eme étage pour solidifier et stabiliser le 2eme. Concernant le scartch il tient bien mais il est préférable de consolider le tout avec de la colle forte au cas ou! On sait jamais Sinon le reste est cool si on l'adapte un peu cage vraiment sympa mes bébés l'adorent !!! Et ya des colliers de serrage fournis (pas énormément mais assez pour le montage classique je pense, mais pas assez pour faire ce que j'ai fait, moi j'en avais acheté en plus)
