Really good dash cam. Fair price for what you get. I did purchase the hardwiring kit but being a new BMW X3 2021 it ended up being a nightmare and I didn’t want to pay someone to do it. I ended up just using the USB. This was actually so simple simple and you can only see the cable at both ends and nowhere else if you tuck them away. Quality is good. The only pain is the app for it. Just Literally A pain to use. But after a while and of owning it you forget about it all anyway. I purchased the plug and play for the rear camera as well which it literally plugs into the side of the camera. I put a lot of camping stuff in the boot so didn’t want the wired option incase it got damaged.

The camera is good and comes with everything you need to install a basic setup in the car, including getting wires out of sight. I additionally bought adhesive hooks to run the cable across the top of the passenger footwell to reach the “cigarette lighter” power socket. I made my own life difficult by also buying the rear camera and therefore needing to do its wiring, the setup could come with better instructions for hiding the wiring but YouTube to the rescue. The front camera is very good generally. I use the suction cup to attach it to the windscreen, and in very hot weather sitting in the sun for long periods it has twice fallen off. No problem, I just stick it back on. I’d rather that than use the adhesive version that also comes with it and then find I can’t easily move it. The internal battery is very weak, and discharges a full charge very quickly. In the car that isn’t a problem as it draws power from the car. But if the car sits undriven for a long time, the camera may take several minutes to fire up when the engine is started as the camera battery has drained even in standby. A small problem unless you are concerned about coverage from the very start of a journey. It also works well with the rear camera. Biggest gripe is the app that comes with it which is total hogwash, doesn’t work at all. After the first connection to the camera, forget ever getting it to connect again — not going to happen. Given the app is how the manufacturer expects you to download video, edit it etc, this is a serious flaw and has lost the camera a star from me. Instead you are talking about either removing the camera from the car To plug into a computer or removing the SD card from the camera if you have a reader in a computer you can plug it into. Overall the app looks great but just doesn’t work, and Nextbase don’t seem to be doing anything about that.

Good value package. Seems very good build quality however time will tell, good quality and clear picture, where I have checked just for test purposes the number plates are usually very clear and readable. Fairly straightforward set up for WiFi transfer of video or pictures to my iPhone or iPad. Have not yet installed using the fixed wiring kit just the cable to power socket. Very robust mounting system and feels very securely attached to windscreen, I do like the ease of which the camera can be detached from mount also magnetic catch means very easy to reconnect.

A breeze to use and setup, so long as you can work out the fuse to connect this to in the box an absolute ease to install too, just take your time and use a bit of common sense with the cable routing it will only take about 30 minutes to install, just get the biggest SD card you can afford.

Bit dissapointed with this cam, bought it to replace and old 412 model, although the features and ease of use is really good, i have seen the screen go blank or have lines on it.several times, almost as if the screen is about to fail. The battery takes ages to charge, and does not last long, so pretty useless for the 'Park' mode. Will give it another week, but seriously considering sending it back. It maybe I just have an odd faulty unit!

There's not a lot to say really other than it really is easy to install although be careful sticking the base into position if you've never installed one before as you only really get one chance and once it's on it doesn't easily come off. The wiring is the usual threading long wires under the head lining and in and out of rubber door trims, under and through panels and so on. Not a pleasant job and always worrying with plastic clips breaking but slowly does it and you'll get there. The picture quality is great and way better than the 720P unit we had last time. The software is easy to use and you can set it to store either HQ and SQ videos or just HQ along with setting the duration of each video too. You can stitch together three or four videos to make one long one but remember it's 4K and the file sizes get very big very quickly. We also bought the rear window camera and it seamlessly saves both feeds with ease. Be warned though the magnet used for holding the front camera in place is really strong and not so easy to remove the camera and replace it without messing up it's aim at the road ahead so you may have to check that every time you put it back in. One irritating thing is that once you've removed it the "shock detector" in it continues to work when it's in your pocket or bag so don't be surprised if you have lots and lots of black or blank videos if you take it out at the end of every journey. The polarising lens is really good and if you follow the instructions with the bit of paper setting it up you get so much better results in bright sunshine with little or no reflection off the dashboard. I suppose it depends on your vehicle but ours gave no vibration of the picture at all and I think some of that is the magnetic mounting but mostly the vehicle. Overall definitely worth the money

Ich habe etwas gebraucht, bis die Kamera das getan hat was sie soll, was jedoch nicht unbedingt am Produkt selbst, sondern möglicherweise an meinem Fahrzeug liegt. Ich fahre einen Citroen C4 Grand Picasso und bei diesem Modell ist es, wegen der stark abgeflachten Frontscheibe, etwas schwierig eine passende Position zu finden. Aber es geht! Die Kamera hat nun ihren Platz rechts neben dem Rückspiegel gefunden. Man muss darauf achten das der Saug- oder Klebefuss unbedingt weit genug vom Regen- und Lichtsensor entfernt angebracht wird. Diese Einheit, in der auch die Kamera für den Spurhalteassistenten verbaut ist, stört offenbar den GPS Empfang sehr entscheidend. Ich habe wirklich einige Tage gebraucht den optimalen Punkt zu finden. Dieser befindet sich ab ca 5cm neben dieser Sensoreinheit, mindestens. Befindet sich die Kamera in unmittelbarer Nähe dieser Einheit bekommt man keinen GPS Empfang hin. Auch sollte man auf die Verwendung des mitgelieferten Entstörfilters nicht verzichten. Der Gebrauch ist relativ einfach und auch ohne Anleitung hin zubekommen. Die Bildqualität ist gut und der G-Sensor ist ziemlich empfindlich, auch in der mittleren Einstellung. Bei stark abgeflachten Frontscheiben, wie beim C4 reicht der mögliche Einstellwinkel gerade so aus. Bei (fast) senkrechten LKW Scheiben sollte das überhaupt kein Problem sein. Schön wäre, wenn gas Kugelgelenk für die Einstellung keine Begrenzung hätte, wenn das technisch machbar wäre. Was ich als etwas negativ empfinde ist, das man die Kamera schlecht aus ihrer Magnethalterung herausbekommt, ohne dabei die gesamte Position zu verändern. Es ist zwar gut das die Magneten die Kamera sicher hält und auch die Verbindung gewährleistet, aber ich hab immer Angst beim herausnehmen etwas kaputt zu machen. Die Funktion ALEXA hab ich nicht aktiviert, da ich immer mit abgeschaltetem Mikrofon fahre. Die WiFi Verbindung zum Handy mittels APP funktioniert einwandfrei, damit bekommt man die Videos schnell auf das Handy übertragen. Braucht man aber nicht unbedingt ;-) Ich kann im nachhinein die Kamera wirklich empfehlen. Wenn ich das Problem des gestörten GPS Empfanges eher erkannt hätte, wäre die erste Rücksendung des Produktes nicht nötig gewesen.

L'ajout d'une caméra de lunette arrière permet d'avoir une caméra de recul avec une remorque (ou un porte-vélos), ce que ne permet pas la caméra de recul d'origine de la voiture. Par contre, il faut s'habituer à la vision avec un objectif très grand angle.

Bei diesem Set ist alles dabei was man braucht. Die Kabel sind wirklich ausreichend lang, ich bin bei einem BMW x5 bis hinten in den Kofferraum an den Sicherungskasten gekommen und hatte noch Kabel übrig. Durch die verschiedenen Anschlussadapter war das verkabeln ein Kinderspiel. Die Kamera ist super einfach zu bedienen und funktioniert mit der App top. Ich habe sofort die neue Firmware aufgespielt, keinerlei abrisse oder ähnliches. Der Magnethalter ist super, die Kamera lässt sich entfernen und ist dennoch erstklassig befestigt. Dadurch das an dem Magnethalter auch die Stromversorgung ist, diese oberhalb herausgeführt wird, sieht man bei meiner Installation ca 5mm Kabel, wirklich top, die Qualität der Aufnahmen gefällt mir sehr gut und dadurch das die Kamera in 2 Qualitäten das aufgenommene ablegt, ist einstellbar, ist die Übertragung aufs Handy auch ruckelfrei, ich bin begeistert. Die Kamera habe ich für meinen Vater besorgt und die wichtigen Punkte waren...gue video Qualität, ausreichender Winkel, simple Bedienung und Konnektivität...das trifft es...

Ich habe lange überlegt, welche Dash-Cam ich mir zulege und mich mit diesem Angebotspaket richtig entschieden. Qualität und Service haben ihren Preis!
