Ever since I started to make a change to a healthy lifestyle, I have been focused on eating organic and taking products/supplements that are as close to natural as possible. Enter Jocko Discipline Go energy drinks. You look on the back of these and they have like 5 ingredients, all of which you can pronounce and are familiar to you. Plus they are pasteurized, which is extra awesome. The best way I can describe these is they are filtered energy drinks with natural and quality ingredients. They have 95mgs of caffeine and 5 calories. I mean come on, it doesn’t get better than this. This product is a massive improvement over regular energy drinks that have 20 ingredients that you have never heard of and packed with sugar. And the only reason you drink them is because of the of the massive caffeine kick, which comes at the expense of dehydration, jitters, and your kidneys screaming for help. When I drink this product it is light, refreshing, and gives me just the kick I need to get going without feeling like I have just ingested some sort of unnatural and unhealthy substance. I see people on here bashing the taste. Well guess what, this is what healthy tastes like. It literally tastes like an energy drink that has been run through a purifier and has been stripped of all the artificial ingredients with a bit of light carbonation and a touch of citrus(or whatever flavor you got). Of course it wont taste super yummy like something that has a ton of sugar and artificial flavors, but it WORKS and your body will thank you. The only complaint I have is the price. They are roughly 3.00 per 12fl oz can. I would prefer if the cost could be around 2.50 or 2.00 per can. But hey, if this is the price for quality, I will happily pay it. I just cant afford as many per month which may actually turn out GOOD, so I can work harder and get promoted so I can buy more Jocko Discipline.

Provides clear energy without the crash you'd expect if you had a coffee instead. Plus, it's less harsh on the gut than a cup of coffee. The capsule version is a better bang for the buck, but they don't kick in as quickly. 1 capsule before a long drive, plus a can for the start is a good combo for alertness. Also effective on weekends for when you want to be surprisingly more productive than usual. You should get the variety pack at first. All 8 flavors are good. Dak Savage, Whoop Assault Watermelon and Tropic Thunder had the strongest flavors compared to the others. Afterburner Orange, Citrus Psycho and Jocko Pom'r are arguably the 3 best flavors (though I'm giving Mango Mayhem another shot). All 8 have a similar aftertaste / background-taste that's quite nice (due to the monk fruit?). I'm going to have to have more than 1 can of each flavor to truly evaluate them. Citrus Psycho and Afterburner Orange are currently favorites.

I would gie it 5 stars but I’ll make it 4 stars because of the taste. The taste is atrocious! I have tried many of these flavors and they all seem unfinished. They seem like they are missing something. It could add some sweetness to it by adding agave nectar or something natural as that. The aftertaste of these drinks are horrendous. I believe if it was mixed in with a smoothie it would be way better. Now as far as what it is, an energy drink, it definitely lives up to that! I have been off monsters and sometimes noticed I would need more than one, however with these, one gets the job done! The energy aspect of it is incredible and I don’t feel my heart racing after drinking it. The best flavor to me was the blue raspberry but I wanted to try this but definitely regret it. They need a trial pack something like one or two of each flavor so that customers can see which flavor they prefer.

Man! They definitely reworked the flavor. The Cirtus Psycho is pretty good. It kind of loses flavor as you drink it. But, let's be honest, we aren't drinking this just for the flavor, we want the effects. These energy drinks hit differently. There's no surge of energy, no mind racing effects. Instead it provides a nice uptick to brain power, clears brain fog and lasts a few hours. I've definitely decided to swap it for my morning coffee. I just received the Dak Savage flavor, don't drink it warm. I'll update this review tomorrow once they're cold.

I ordered a case of this "battery acid" a few months ago, and while the flavor was not terrible, it was not great either. However, what has transpired over the past several months, is downright frightening. I left the remaining 8 cans in the pack, on my counter at room temperature. I lost track of consuming them, and they just got pushed to the side. Today, I attempted to grab a can, to find that it was now only 1/4 full, and the bottom of the cardboard packing tray is soaked in goo. I inspected the rest of the cans, they are ALL 1/4 full. The tops of the cans are 100% sealed. Something has EATEN it's way OUT of the cans! Do not drink this stuff. I don't know what it is, but if it reacts this way with aluminum... I don't want it in my stomach.

Definitely an energetic drink. Flavors are good, and I found that I didn't get jitters compared to certain other brands. I'm not a regular energy drink person. But normally, would buy this again. I now find that a case that I bought ~6 months ago has a few empty/near empty cans, and it looks like product at some point poured all over the others. It's way past the complaint window, but it is annoying, and even one can being useless means the overall $/can shoots up. I.e., it gets harder to justify the expense. So -- I like the product. Check each can in each case upon receipt. It's true it would be a risk for any consumable product from Amazon.

Overall great product. I start most of my days with coffee and use a can of Go in the afternoon as a pick me up to finish the day strong. I definitely notice the hit of caffeine. A couple days a week I hit a 6am BJJ class, on those mornings I will have a can on my way to the gym instead of coffee. Again I notice the caffeine and it doesn't mess with my stomach. I am not sure if I notice a cognitive improvement but I am definitely more alert and focused with it than without. This coupled with the fact that this is such a clean, all natural product makes it a go to for me. Now this brings me to the flavors. Be honest with yourself here. If you are not eating clean and avoiding sugars in your diet already you will probably not like the flavors of this product. For perspective, I stopped drinking regular soda about 6 or 7 years ago and I actually find them too syrupy and sweet for my liking now. I also eat a primarily clean diet. I have tried all of the available flavors and a couple I will not be trying again. Afterburner Orange, Sour Apple Sniper and Tropic Thunder taste like they should. And all three are good. The rest not so much. Jocko Pomr isn't bad but really doesn't taste like a tea and lemonade combo to me. I honestly don't know what to compare it to. Dak Savage again isn't bad but I catch hints of cherry cough syrup. Citrus Psycho is kinda like a flat lemon/lime soda, not so good. Having said all of this I love having a healthy alternative to typical energy drinks and will definitely continue getting after these!

You can find cheaper energy drinks, but these drinks are hard to beat. I've taken 5 Hour Energy Shots, V8 Energy, and Red Bulls, etc. These will help wake you up, but also leave you feeling far better. I simply feel good after drinking one. Sometimes the sugar content from other drinks can leave your gut feeling off and what not. Not with these Jocko drinks. And they're typically still cheaper than some other options, including 5 Hour shots. So, fair price and high quality. I usually wake up to one of these. The flavor is decent. They didn't add a whole lot of crap to this to make it taste better. It's a bunch of good stuff with enough decent flavoring to make it doable.
