Stretch Prevention Oil

I love this product and wanted to make sure to review it. It goes on so nicely. I like that the oil is a bit solid at room temp but melts as soon as it touches your skin. It can get on your clothes if you don’t wait before wearing your outfit but it’s oil! The scent is light but nice and therapeutic (I often dislike product scents). I love that its EWG certified. I only wish I discovered this earlier in pregnancy. I will likely continue to use it after to keep my skin soft in winter. I will definitely be telling friends about this product.

I am loving this product so far! I’m 28 weeks pregnant and I apply it nightly from my hips, stomach, sides, and back. I will say I took away a star bc the bottle doesn’t have a tonnnnnn of product and I need about 3 decent size (dime-quarter) squirts to cover everything to the point where I feel well lathered. Obviously how much surface area you cover and how much you feel happy with when applied is subjective but I really love it! It absorbs by morning and doesn’t feel too sticky or oily. My pajamas have not been stained from it but I also make sure I have my shirt pulled up when freshly applying it! It has a very minimal oil/aquaphor smell to it. I was surprised by the texture a little bit but I am pleasantly surprised because it’s not as runny as a traditional oil! I would recommend it and I will be re purchasing because for the quality/safe ingredients and the decent price point (since pregnancy targeted products are usually $$$$) I will say, this is my second pregnancy and I did get a lot of stretch marks in my 1st pregnancy but I haven’t had any new ones yet!

Edit at 39 weeks: my stretch marks are itchy, painful, and abundant. They're not keeping me awake at night though, so maybe that's a plus? First time mom here, started using at 18 weeks. I've only had a handful of days where my belly itches uncomfortably. Have used every night and am now 37 weeks. Pros: -keeps your skin hydrated, even into the next morning/afternoon if you apply at night -EWG verified Cons: -WILL stain your clothing after awhile -will also make your clothing smell like old oil even after washing I do have stretch marks despite being consistent with this stuff. I'm in my mid-20s, and my stomach has stretched a lot. I can't really be sure if the oil prevented me from getting them sooner (I started noticing them at 35 weeks, and they have since multiplied in abundance). I *think* the oil may have helped because of how I only used this stuff on my stomach, and I got stretch marks everywhere else before I found a single tiny one on my belly a couple weeks ago. However, I now have a bunch of stretch marks below my bellybutton that are steadily growing in size. The verdict? -I think this stuff does help, and it's something I can feel good about using on my baby belly. After how much my belly has grown, I think this is at least worth it for the itching!

I got the stick and I love it! I started using it about 8 weeks pregnant and it lasted 4-5 months! I apply nightly too. It makes your skin so soft and I haven’t had much itchiness. I’m 30 weeks now and if I do get any itchiness I just apply in the morning too. The scent is light and clean smelling. I haven’t noticed it staining my clothes like some other reviews have mentioned but maybe because the 3oz is in a bar form. I would definitely recommend to others!

It feels so nice on the skin. It glides on and absorbs really well. I wish I had started using it earlier in my pregnancy. I think it helped a bit with the stretch marks, but not the discoloration. I still have no complaints. I loved it as part of a calming and pampering routine, what little I can squeeze in during the day.

I wanted to love it but a little to oily and doesn’t soak into the skin quickly still points for the ingredients and EWG certification!

The bar is solid, but melts into the skin smooth as butter when applied. The scent is very subtle, which I really appreciate-especially with heightened fragrance sensitivity during pregnancy!! I’ve been using this since my first trimester (I’m now in the third) and I’m already on my second bar. I apply it every night before bed, right after my shower, and my belly feels deeply moisturized without being greasy. Highly recommend this for any expecting mama looking for a clean, safe, and effective stretch mark prevention product. It’s a self-care ritual I truly look forward to, and it actually works!

I don't normally write reviews, but I really love this bar! I gained some weight and noticed some painful stretch marks forming. This bar has reduced its visibility with only a couple uses; the stretch marks do not itch/are not painful anymore. I love that the case is not plastic, and it is easy to apply; doesn't seem thick or uncomfortable. I really like it, and I highly recommend.
