Our masala chai contains cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and some vanilla, so has a beautifully well-rounded aromatic scent and flavour. The cardamom and vanilla give the blend its sweeter notes, while the ginger and cinnamon bring those heavier authentic chai flavours. Our malty Assam black tea gives this chai the perfect rounded base. How to brew masala chai Because we use whole leaves in our blends, you will need to brew your loose leaf chai for longer than your usual chai tea bag: 3-5 minutes should do it.
