A Great Bulk Bag for Daily Fiber and Shakes
Buying a 2.2 pound bulk bag is a fantastic value and lasts a long time, making it a really convenient staple to keep in the pantry. Since I pay close attention to my daily nutrition, these are an easy way to boost my daily fiber and omega 3 intake. They have a neutral flavor and a nice little crunch, so you can easily stir them into protein shakes, smoothies, or yogurt without altering the taste. They also absorb liquid and gel up quickly if you like making chia pudding. If you are looking for a reliable, high quality bag of chia seeds, I definitely recommend picking this up.

Massive bag will last a long time, good quality
Very happy with this purchase. Tiny bags cost $4 at the grocery store, yet this is so much larger and matches the quality. I recommend a ratio of 1 part chia to 4 parts liquid and let it soak overnight. For chocolate chia pudding, mix 1/2 cup chia seeds, 2 cups oat milk (or whatever milk you prefer), pinch to 1/4 tsp of salt (essential!), 1 T. honey (you can always add more later), 2 T. cocoa. Mix well and leave it in fridge overnight in sealed container. It's yummy and will keep your colon moving.

Really helps with my diabetes control!
I bought these chia seeds mainly to add more fiber to my diet and to use as part of keeping my meals a little more diabetes-friendly. Theyโve been easy to work into smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, and chia pudding. They absorb liquid well and make a good gel, so a little goes a long way. I also like that the bag is large enough that Iโm not constantly running out. The flavor is very mild, which makes them easy to add to different foods without changing the taste much. The only downside is that they can get messy if you spill them, and they really need enough time to soak if youโre making pudding. Overall, Iโve been happy with them. Theyโre an easy way for me to add more fiber and omega-3s to my diet, and they fit well into the way Iโm trying to eat.

Fresh, high quality seeds
Chia seeds are a healthy source of Omega-3 fatty acids that are so good for the heart health. They also have a lot of protein and magnesium. Magnesium is a critical nutrient that American diets are likely to be deficient in. This is a wonderful, big bag and I put them on a lot of things. I love a handful thrown in salads, and they are fine in soups, smoothies, and essentially anything that can hold tiny seeds. They don't have any flavor so they won't change how the food or drinks you put them in tastes. The Yupik brand is one I have relied on for a long time. The quality of Yupik seeds (sunflower, chia, pepitas, & sesame seeds are the ones I have bought) has always been great. I have been particularly satisfied with their sunflower seeds because when I have ordered other brands, they often arrive with their oils rancid. I keep all my seeds in the freezer so I don't have to worry about them going rancid before I use them up. But Yupik's seeds always arrive fresh and good.

Good Seeds At An Affordable Price
These seem to be just as good as any other chia seeds that I've purchased. I add these to my oatmeal in the morning along with other things, so the taste doesn't really shine through. Would recommend!

Great value
I love love love chia seeds. My favorite is to add them to my protein shakes - I add the chia seeds *after* the shake has been thru the blender. I add them, stir them in, and let it sit maybe 5 minutes so the seeds all get gelatinous (it still has a crunchy center). Be careful if you try to eat them raw, it can be dangerous. You can Google what has happened to people who have tried (trigger warning: it's sad). Best advice is to start off with a small amount and increase the amount over time so you know when you have enough. Chia seeds really help with keeping me feeling fuller much longer and since I'm on a weight loss journey currently, this is very important in helping me to not overeat. Chia seeds also add a bit of protein to your diet! This particular brand is a fantastic value. The seeds were all fresh when they arrived and the resealable package helps keep them that way. You get a lot of bang for your buck with buying this size.

Keeps you regular!
I used to have bad gastrointestinal issues because I had a low fiber diet. I felt bloated all the time, or felt like I constantly had to go to the bathroom only to sit there with no results. I did a lot of research on high fiber foods, and chia seeds seemed to be the best way to incorporate more fiber into my diet at a low cost. Metamucil is also a good choice, but 3x more expensive for the same results. 2.2lbs of Chia seeds cost $10, versus 2.2lbs of Metamucil cost a little over $30. Not to mention, chia seeds are high in protein and omega 3 fatty acids, whereas Metamucil is not. I weigh out 40 grams of chia seeds (12g-13g of fiber) and soak them in 2 cups of water for 2 hours or more, and drink them with a straw. You have to make sure to stir them well, or they will clump together. Chia seeds have made a huge impact on my regularity and overall mood. I don't feel bloated or bogged down all the time like I used to. I was purchasing chia seeds from Wal-Mart, but found these to be a better deal as you got more for your money. Chia seeds do have a gelatinous consistency which may not be ideal for some people, I liken them to boba in bubble tea, just a lot smaller. They have little to no taste, and you can soak them in all kinds of different liquids. You should drink a lot of water too whenever you're increasing your fiber intake, as the fiber bulks up and helps move things along when you're properly hydrated. If you're having stomach issues, I would highly recommend incorporating chia seeds into your diet, as they will make a huge difference in the way you feel. These are an excellent deal!
