NICREW Battery Powered Outdoor Security Lights, 2 Pack, PIR Motion Sensor

I have bought a few of these over the last year or two for use at home and for my parents home. Just bought another two - one for me and one for a friend. Easy to screw into wood or fit to brickwork with the supplied screws and wall plugs. I guess the batteries last 4 - 6 months depending on time of year i.e. longer nights in Winter so they get triggered more. They give a very good bright white light. It does not stay on for long but will retrigger if whatever set them off is still in the area. Not had any quality issues to date. I prefer these to solar lights as I have found solar lights stop working eventually because water leaks around the edges of the solar panel and corrodes the electronics or we just do not get enough light during the day to charge them up properly. Battery powered is also better than mains electric lights as you don't have the hassle of running mains power into the garden which can bring its own problems unless done safely. I certainly will be buying these again.

Bought the 2 x 2 packs. Installed three lights - they work very well with great range for motion detection and good brightness that lights up a bigger than expected area.Unfortunately one light did not work. The clip that holds the battery compartment secure had snapped, so the batteries weren't being held in place properly. Even when physically pushing the compartment together, the light still did not work (I tried it on one of the other other lights and that one did work) which leads me to think theres more to this issue than just the broken plastic clip. Maybe the LED is also damaged?Overall, really like the lights and they've been up over 2 weeks and working as expected. Sadly loses 1 star because of the one light that came damaged.

Decent lights, nice and compact in size, easy to install competitively priced, efficient use of battery power and they last for years ass they are durable.I have installed them in remote parts of our garden and they are sufficiently sensitive to monitor our dog as she wend her way through the garden at night. Additionally, I have paired these lamps with our amazon blink cameras along the boundaries of our read garden and they are less noticable than the model produced specifically for those cameras and whilst not quite as good, they are less noticable and produce an adequate area of illumination to record images.Decent item. We have some very similar models sold by Mr Beams which we have had in the garden for years and they still function.

I took a chance on these and am not disappointed. My scepticism about them being battery operated proved wrong. They're great.Firstly, to note that they say they are weather proof but best installed in a sheltered place like under the eaves, which is what I've done and would definitely recommend.Installation and set up is really easy for anyone half descent at DIY.The sensor can't be adjusted so I had to mask off half of it with black insulating tape to stop the unit being triggered by passing cars. This is at no detriment whatsoever in the context of this review though.Great level of illumination as can be seen in the photo.So all in all, five stars. Great buying.

Should be 5 stars based on quality of product but....Bought this product (2 in pack). 1 unit is installed and works brilliant and I am really pleased with it. However 2nd unit is defective and does not work at all (no damage with packaging). Following contact with Customer Services I was told I could not have a single unit replacement as the product is sold as 2 items in 1 box. The only option, I have been advised, is to order a further pack and install my 2nd light from this order then return the defective light in the same box with the unwanted 2nd order light (at a cost of a further £23.99 to then be refunded). There must be a better way to supply a single replacement???

Easy to install, heavier than i expected,Only 4 stars as I would like them to stay on a bit longer, apart from that, good light fitted then in a garage helpful for backing car in & out

Installed these to light up a 7–8m alley that’s normally pitch black, and they’ve done the job well. The motion sensor picks up quickly, the brightness is enough to make the whole stretch usable, and even in areas with only a bit of ambient light (like near the car) they still trigger reliably, last about 15-20 seconds. Build quality seems decent, time will tell how long they last but so far they’ve been a solid, no‑nonsense solution for outdoor security lighting.
