Edited for my initial mistake.
An absolute fan of peak refuel for camping, backpacking, hiking, or just to have in an emergency. Filling, delicious, requires little preparation. Initially I was commenting to say that this is not a vegan option, however it was a mistake on my part, partially because "chicken boullion" is separated by a line break on the ingredients list from the word "vegan".

This meal tasted good but not in the sense of a traditional tomato based chili, I still enjoyed the meal and texture and the extra fiber in the meal is a bonus.

This one was a let down to me, boring, under-seasoned and not worth $15 in my opinion.
This is the second Peak MRE I've bought that was a letdown. This is surprising since typically Peak's meals are top notch, but this is a very boring one, and under-seasoned...to me. I thought being 'chili mac' meant it would have some kick. I had to add salt a couple times just to bring it up to a so-so level. Others may disagree and say this is tasty, and that's OK we're all different. You want to some good ones? Try Peak's Beef Stroganoff and Biscuits & Gravy. Those 2 are amazing and worth the $15, but this one I will say is not.

Best vegan chili mac I've yet tried
Surprisingly good. Make sure to stir it well, but this meal has really good flavor and texture. I would like to see larger portion, but it is good.
