Yes it does. We just keep the foot pedal down and separate the cut off from the sealed bag.

Q: those this sealer work with pe/pp plastics bags?

Hi,PE bag is ok, but PP is not. It is too thick.

Q: will it seatl plastic tooth paste tubes?

I do not know but will seal good plastic bags
