Hi-Tensile Crimp Sleeves - Open tap for 14-12.5 Gauge Wire

For what ever reason, Tractor Supply and every farm store around me are out of stock for these open ended crimps. I wasn't really sure what I was getting as all my local stores sell these crimps for nearly $1 a piece and here is a whole bottle of 100 for just $20. I received a bottle of 100 open ended crimps, they are aluminum and they are gritted. The brand is "powerfields" which I've never heard of. But they seem to be just as good as the local versions. Not sure why they are gritted since these are made not for splicing wires together but for "jumping" wires together ie. connecting underground wire runs to above ground electric fencing. So I feel the "grit" would just get in the way of electrical continuity. But with a little bit of soap and water, it washes right off mostly.

Great open crimp sleeve that can be placed over the wire anywhere and then crimped close.

Great Products for continuing the electric current. Very easy to use with the right pliers.
