Simple and gets the job done for even the heaviest speakers!
These are great. Very simple design and it gets the job done. I used these to mount a pair of Bowers and Wilkins 686 bookshelf speakers to my ceiling. If you're not familiar with this size of speaker, these things weighed about 11 lbs each, so I knew I needed something very heavy duty. If you are going to mount into the ceiling, please note that the mounting hardware is wide and at least 2 of the screws will miss the stud if you are going into the rafters. What I did to work around this problem is I went into the attic and reinforced (widened) my studs so that I could go into studs with all 4 screws. After mounting them I felt like they were rock solid and I probably could have hung on them. Excellent product and I would definitely buy them again.

Best mounts I could find for my bookshelf speakers
Best mounts I could find for my bookshelf speakers. I'm using Polk T15s(~7 lbs each) as my L,R, and surrounds, and they are all hung from my ceiling. I originally tried some mounts that were supposed to be good up to 10 lbs, but they didn't have enough joint strength to hold my speakers at the angle I wanted... These fix that and more. They have a safety cable so that if the joint ever did give out, your speaker won't fall to the floor. I mounted them with 2 #10 screws into a stud, and 2 #10 screws into drywall anchors. Then I used 1 M6 screw with a nut and lockwasher into the keyhole mount on each T15 speaker, and a short #10 wood screw(0.5") with a washer into the other side of the mount. The barbell sliding tightener is the only thing I didn't like about these mounts... once I put a little superglue into the balls on the end, they stopped coming off. All in all, a very good mount.

Not pretty, but they do the job just fine.
I bought these to hang a pair of Samson MediaOne BT5 Bluetooth speakers in our new covered patio. They're not the prettiest things to look at - definitely built for function over form, but they do the job just fine. Three things to note: 1) They don't come with any screws or bolts to attach them to your wall/roof or your speakers. Not a big deal, but it did mean another trip to Lowes that I wasn't expecting. 2) The adjustable "knee" joint is tightened by a small wingnut. I found I couldn't tighten it as much as I would have liked with my fingers, so I used a pair of pliers to get a little more purchase on it. Once tightened adequately, it's rock solid. 3) As delivered, the mounting plates are a little too loosely attached for my liking. I tightened them down a tad before mounting the speakers - a simple job but beware the bolts are 10mm, not imperial.

Great for heavy speakers
These brackets worked perfectly for mounting my "legacy" Paradigm speakers to the ceiling. These speakers were originally designed for floor stands - front speakers weigh 27 pounds each, the rears weigh 14, and the speaker housings are made from typical 3/4" particle board. I used one bracket per speaker, and these brackets hold the weight with no problem. The disc-style "knee" joint holds the cant angle well - much better than the "ball and clamp" style of joint I've used previously. I've only had these installed for about 2 months now, but have noticed no loosening that you might expect from the vibration that accompanies very loud music and heavy bass - and I tried! (Even if I do manage to loosen them at some point, I believe a little loc-tite on the joint carriage bolt would take care of that.) One thing you might consider ahead of time is the distance between the wall/ceiling, and the speaker housing when mounted in the desired position. These brackets are relatively short, so you might have to get creative with attaching the bracket to the side of the speaker, not the back. Find a wall stud or ceiling joist, mount the 2-hole side of the bracket into the center of the stud/joist, mount the 4-hole side of the bracket onto the speaker cabinet, then hold the speaker while you attach the safety cable and connect the disc joint. Hand-tighten the wing nut to hold your speaker in the desired position, then use pair of pliers to snug up the wing nut. As other reviews mentioned, these brackets don't come with mounting hardware. I'd rather use my own stuff anyway. I used 2.5" #10 wood screws for the stud mount, and 3/4" #10 wood screws for the speaker mounts. ymmv.

These are nice mounts and heavy duty
These are nice mounts and heavy duty. I'm using them with Polk bookshelf speakers which are my rear speakers for my system. They weigh 8 lbs and are 7x7x11. The mounts are very sturdy. The 4 holes for the screws are too far apart to to screw all screws into a stud. As long as you screw 2 vertical screws into the stud and the other 2 into anchors they will hold up well. Was extremely upset when, like others had stated in their reviews, there was no hardware at all. NOscrews, NO anchors and NO instructions! Come on guys! Throw in a few screws and instructions!

Great speaker mounts!
These were just what I needed to hang my atmos speakers from the ceiling. They are infinitely adjustable, you can set the up/down and side to side adjustments easy. Definitely worth a look!

Not suitable for heavy bookshelf speakers
These won't hold the speakers at right angle as the mount won't retain its angled position and would slip from the weight of the speakers. It would work fine if you dont need to angle the speakers horizontally and just want to use vertical angle.

Easy to install, heavy duty but areas for improvement
Overall these are great- They are holding up/ suspending my small bookshelf speakers that I am using as surround speakers- They would probably be considered pretty large speakers for surrounds. The center nut that hold the arm in place seems like it could be compromised if you were to make too many adjustments- I don't fully 100% trust it- I probably trust it like 98% and then there is the safety wire that secures it which does then take my trust to 100%- If they can get it feeling solid enough to get my trust to 100% without the wire- then I would give it 5 stars for sturdiness as well.

Good solid bracket!
Le support est de bonne qualitรฉ et robuste. Exactement de mes attentes. Prendre en note qu'il y a aucune visse pour installer sur le haut-parleurs et mur. ร prรฉvoir ! Good quality and robust support. Exactly what I've expected. This product has no screws to attach to the speaker and wall.

Good quality speaker bracket
Good quality speaker bracket, holds my B&W DM600's perfectly with the added safety cable in case the bracket fails and stops the speaker hitting the floor.
